| "Avoid this card if you pump diesel or travel to Canada" |
| Took a long trip to Eastern US and Canada in August 2005. Pumped lots of diesel using the card, only to find out that the rebate doesn't apply if the stations don't accept credit cards at the pump. Most truck stops don't have automated diesel pumps (due to size of purchases) unless they have one at the gasoline islands. Also, most stations we found in Canada outside the main cities didn't have any automated pumps, including gasoline. The card was useless for it's rebate. Cost us at least $75 in missed rebates in one month. |

| "VISA /NO HELP" |
My cardwas not insured. Someone called and posed as visa rep. Asked me to make payment over phone. I agreed. Gave number found out 2 months later they had
been taking money from my account! I had
no resources to back me up at visa. Bank
found it and advised new account! I expected the usual receipt inthe mail.
Being a fraud person who called, I had nothing to go on.Don't give number orpayment over phone. PAY ON TIME! You will always realize they are fraud. Recorded in news 2 weeks ago. Still occurring. No leads. Be careful! USE CAPITAL ONE VISA NOT FIRST CARD! I AM OUT OFWORK DUETO ILLNESS. THAT 800.00 has caused me financial stress and late
payments.BE VERY CAREFUL. I learned my leson the hard way. I usually tell anyone who calls that I will send or I have already sent if so. I am now well aware of all calls regading over the phone payments. It may be easier at times but for credit cards it is notwise. I have done this with Phonecompany but now I pay all bills online or mail. i hope this saves someonefrom losing money as I did. I am now going to lose my hometo foreclosure because I cannot get a loan to bring current because of the lae payments that resulted from my loss. This is been very difficult to believe I am inthissituation because someone is stealing money that we all work hard for. I have 3 children who will loe their home in 2 weeks. I have cut that card up. Presently do not own any cards |

| "Customer Service" |
| First USA's customer service is the BEST I have ever found. They were very informative, knowledgeable and courtesy above all the rest. |

| "Agree with Martha" |
| AAA Platinum (issued by First USA) has skyrocketed over the last year in its percentage rate increase. It is now a whopping 24%+, according to the insert with the statement last month. Absolutely no benefits to this card. |

| "Don't get it." |
Hello, I had a bad experience with my credit card. I have had this card for over 2 years now and the interest rate keeps going up. When I first got it, it was at a promotional rate of 4.9%. It was my first card so I got really excited. I had no idea what to look for in a credit card. Now, about two years later, the interest is up to a whopping 23.99%. Last year alone, I paid more than $450.00 in interest alone. I kept calling and calling them to ask them if they could lower my interest down and they kept telling me to call in about a month. They told me this about 4 different times. Today I finally called them again, hoping that they would lower my interest rate significantly but the lady said that the lowest they could go was to 19.99%. There is no way that I will be able to pay this card off soon. If you do not want to paying a high interest, do not get this card. They said the high interest was due to that I paid them late, twice. I like paying my bills on time!
and only remember paying them late once. The only good thing about this card is the free luggage bag they give you as a gift for becoming a member. As soon, as I am done paying off this card (if I ever), I will never make business with them again. Please, please, please spare yourself the pain of having to deal with them. |
