I am shocked that the ASPCA has chosen to affiliate with this card! The disclosure information indicates that after the O% interest rate expires, the rate will become "8.99 fixed, 10.99 fixed or 14.99 fixed depending on our review of your application and credit history." But if you read the fine print, it states, "APRs for this offer are not guaranteed, APRs may change... FOR ANY REASON, (emphasis mine) in addition to APR increases that may occur for failure to comply with the terms of your account." I called to question this, and got an automated service with no option to speak to customer service. I did manage to get a service person by intentionally filling in bogus numbers, and she confirmed that the rate is not fixed at all. How can they claim a rate is fixed in their "rate, fee and other cost information" section, when it is not true?? This seems like a blatant attempt to defraud comsumers. Shame on the ASPCA!!
