| "No regard for customer loyalty" |
| I've been a customer of six years... one late payment over a year ago and they raised my interest to 29.99%. I called to discuss and they told me to return to my "great record" of making higher than minimum payments early and they would review and lower the interest. In May, upon the loss of my mother, I was 30 minutes late making a payment. (I made the payment on the due date at 7:31pm. TODAY they tell me they changed the cut off time to 7pm that month.) Now they tell me there is nothing they can do and if I want to close the account I "HAVE NO HOPE OF EVER' getting the interest lowered. Then the rude supervisor offered to send me to credit counseling. I am beyond angry with this company. The minute I can pay this off, it's done. Stay away. NO regard for customer loyalty. |

| "Rates too high" |
Terrible customer service. In spite of the fact that I have a FICO score over 700 and have made on time payments for over a year (I was late once two years ago due to my father passing away) they will not lower my rate which is at over 22%. I have called and called and they refuse to lower it. I transferred my entire balance to a lower rate card, and only charge a monthly expense which I pay in full each month.
They absolutely will not lower my rate, so I will absolutely not use the card until they do. Their rates, I was told by "customer service" go from 15% to 30%! I will not use this card, and if they continue to refuse to lower my rate, will eventually cancel it. |

| "incorrect charges" |
| At some point after I opened the account a magazine subscription was placed on my account. Then 6 months later again the charge was made. When I called and questioned the charge I was told that I had to call the company and research it myself. I did and found out that it was Airtran that had placed it, and it was part of my agreement when I opened the account. The company told me that they would credit my account for all but $5.00 of the charge, but they could not give me full credit as I had received the magazine. So I called Airtrain back, and closed the account. Now a couple of months later I am getting about 3-4 calls daily and the charge ($5.00) is up to about $100 due to late fees. Luckily the phone number that they are calling is only used for faxing and occational international calls. So I just let it go to voicemail. |

| "Be careful..." |
| Be careful.... I had always paid the bill early and much more than the minimum, if not in full each month. I knew I would be out of town one at the end of the month when the bill was due so I paid it at the beginning of the month and never thought any more about it. The following month I received a call at work from Airtran, stating that my paymnt was late but that I could make a payment over the phone right then? I was very confused because I knew I had paid early. They summed it up by telling me that because I paid it so early before the "statement date" that it registered 2 payments the month before and none for the current month! Plus they charged a $39 late fee on top of it!!!! That evening, I did make another payment and they did remove the late charge like they promised. I felt like I was penalized for always paying early and more than minimum. I soon paid off the account and have stopped using it. |

| "Be Careful" |
Not many problems with my application, rewards and ease of use of Frequent flyer miles. When I opened an A+ rewards account for my wife, things changed. The initial offer was for 16,000 free points (convertable into 16 Airtran points = two one-way flights). After charging her $49 for the membership fee, they failed to credit the 16,000 miles. Multiple calls resulted in promises the miles would be credited "on the next statement." This never happened after 4 billing cycles so we closed the account.
Barclays is notorious for promising something in their offers but failing to deliver. Be careful and keep copies of all offers as they tend to give you something different and then charge you an annual fee anyway. |

| "Customer service" |
| The Airtran card is not worth the hassle of having the card. If you have a problem that is not an amount of $30k they don't care. They do not do what they say they will do and you have to call back repeatedly to get them to fix their own mistakes. When you call them, even with an extension, you will never get the same person. Stay away from this card and company! |

| "nearly worthless travel points" |
I've been a very loyal Airtran customer for many years. Further, I've been using the Airtran Visa card for 5+ years, to the tune of more than $10,000 per month.
What do I have to show for the 118 points I've presently accrued? Nothing but frustration. Finding flights with available reward seats is nearly impossible. Airtran only creates reward seats on their cheapest (sub $100) flights. Forget about their island destinations. Airtran never creates reward seats for Aruba, Puerto Rico and Jamaica.
I accrue points all year with the anticipation that my loyalty will be rewarded when our kids have their spring break vacation. Despite searching every day, months prior to spring break, Airtran has no seats to any island destination or cruise port in Florida.
Perhaps Delta will provide better service for both my credit card expenditures and business travel.

| "BOO!!" |
| Air tran is the worst airline for customer service. We experienced so many delays, and cancellation of paid flights with no contact from them. They have torn up our suitcases more than any other airlines, and their customer service people are rude. We never got any of our rewards promised, and now they have raised our interest without reason. I WILL NEVER USE THIS AIRLINE OR CARD AGAIN. WE FLEW AMERICAN AIRLINES ON THE WAY HOME AND WERE SO MUCH HAPPIER WITH THE PLANE, SERVICE, AND TIMELY FLIGHTS!!! |

| "Card Complaints" |
| Signed up for the Airtran Airways A+ Visa Signature with no annual fee. I just got my bill in the mail and it says I have to pay and annual fee of 39.00. No where in the application process was there a $39 fee. I called customer service 4 times and got no where they just kept appologizing and telling me that I needed to pay the annual fee or cancel the card, pay what I owed, and receive no rewards...??? I even walked a customer service rep through the terms and conditions and there was no $39 annual fee and they notted that on the account, then the rep said sorry still can't help you don't have access. I called back and had to explain everything again and of course still no supervisor... Random points appeared on card and I'm affraid of what's next. Waste of time... Do not get this card!!! |

| "worst card I''ve ever had" |
| I tried to use my "free flight" points (given upon opening the account) to fly many different places many different times. It was never possible, no matter how many airports *or* different times *or* days I suggested. So, I decided to cancel. The first time I called, the call center (in Manila) said they cancellation department was "closed." This was on a Friday, and they recommended I call back on the weekend. When I asked how it could be open on the weekend and not Friday, she said well, it wasn''t actually closed, but they weren''t taking more calls. This was after I had waited 20 minutes to get through. When I protested, she said her supervisor would call me back. They didn''t. Several days later I was able to get through after just 18 minutes, and I hope to have canceled the card. |
