"TRAVELING ON YOUR CREDIT CARD"
I HAVE HAD THE ALAKA AIRLINES CREDIT CARD FOR MANY YEARS. I RECENTLY TRAVELED TO THE EAST COAST TO VISIT MY FAMILY. BECAUSE OF THE EXTRA MILES I HAVE OBTAINED THROUGH PURCHASES, I WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL IN FIRST CLASS. IT WAS VERY PLEASANT. I WISH THE MILES ADDED UP FASTER SO I COULD ALWAYS GO IN FIRST CLASS. ALASKA AIRLINES CARD GIVES ME SEVERAL AIRLINES TO CHOOSE FROM INCLUDING AMERICAN. I WILL STAY WITH THIS COMPANY AS LONG AS I AM IN BUSINESS.

Most attractive feature: CREDITS FOR AIR TRAVEL WITH ALASK AIRLINES
Least attractive feature: HIGH INTEREST RATE.

"A Great Card For Travel Benefits"
All in all this is one of the best cards I have had the pleasure of using. I travel extensively and have never had a problem of it being accepted anywhere in the U.S. or in Canada. Equivalency miles are posted quickly on my airlines mileage plan and I always receive prompt service whenever I need to call Bank of America for information on my account. They also give periodic raises on your credit limit without you having to request it. However, I cannot understand why there is no charge when you mail a check for your monthly payment (very time consuming and the mail system is not always flawless), but you are charged a fee for calling in your payment and having it deducted immediately from your checking account. This latter method should be more efficient for both parties and in my opinion should be a FREE service to cardholders. In fairness, this is not the only company doing so - many other banks are also charging fees for phone payments.

Most attractive feature: Every dollar charged on the card gains an air mile towards travelmile
Least attractive feature: Hate having to pay a fee when making monthly payment by phone

"The world of Online Buying"
The card from Bank of America is absolutely wonderful. I have the small key chain card as well and do not see how I lived without it. It makes it easy if I forgot my card at home cause I can just swipe my key chain card at almost every credit card machine. It is unbelievable that a card so small could work the same as a regular size card. Bank of America is exceptional and will continue to do businees as long as I can. AT first I had problems verifying myself to make online purchases, but after I found out that I needed to verify my address, it was as easy as 1...2...3. I like the versatility of this card. I can use it for almost anything my heart desires.I play alot and i can carry the card by itself, use it for whatever i want and dont even have to keep up with the reciepts because everyting is itemised with my bank statement. I'm using my visa card for everything on my Christmas vacation. I trust my bank and card to keep me safe no matter where or when I use it. I never need to enter a pin number for someone else to see and my picture identification is right there on my card. It just makes things so easy with no trouble to use.

Most attractive feature: Easy to make online purchases
Least attractive feature: takes time to verify

"High APR"
The APR is too high. I need to call them and see if they would lower it to 10% or lower but I keep procrastinating. I would'nt reccomend this card but I keep it because it's the only credit card I have.

Most attractive feature: earn airline miles
Least attractive feature: apr is too high

"credit cards"
I have 6 credit major credit cards, but I use my Alaska Airlines gold card for almost everything. The high interest rate - 16.5% is not discouraging since I pay the balance monthly. It is better than carrying cash and I get a free plane ride about every three years.

Most attractive feature: Airline miles
Least attractive feature: high interest rate.

"Promises, Promises"
Despite trying to changeover from Alaska Airlines M/C to Visa Gold (told we had to), after 6 weeks, numerous phone calls, I still havent received the promised Visa Card. They have cancelled my Master Card. This leaves me without a credit card. I'm told that they tried to ship via Fedex the second time, but there has not been any deliver attempt, Fedex is very good about that. After calling again, I just gave up.

Most attractive feature: Couldn't Find One, they couldnt get the card to me..
Least attractive feature: Despite numerous phone calls and promises, I dont have card.

"Customer Service Errors"
I have had this card for several years and loved it. BUT, ever since the card company moved to Illinois several months ago, errors on my statements are commonplace. The customer service is terrible at correcting these (even though they claim they will) which is also uncharacteristic of their past performance. Avoid this card, as tantilizing as it may seem.

Most attractive feature: no expiration of miles/ lots of airline partners
Least attractive feature: Customer service is terrible - they don't correct errors they claim they will
