| "Interest rates are too high" |
| The interest rates are good for the first few months you have the card then they sky rocket way too high. You can never pay off the card unless you win a lot of money. |

| "30 Days grace period" |
MC tells you, that you have 30 days grace period. Don't believe it because, if you make your payment even 20 cents less than what your total was they will charge you interest on the full amount and not on what you owe to them. Bank of Montreal MC has the highest interest rates and they have a lot of little tricks like that.
Disappointed customer.

| "Stay away from credit cards" |
| Ever since I filled for bankruptcy 6 years ago getting any kind of credit is totally impossible, even if noe my situation is completly restore. |

| "Interest Charges.... Oh Man!!!" |
| This card is great if you have car problems in the middle of town. That's all I can say is good about it.... The APR is so high, no annual fee is a good thing, the interest is higher that you could ever ever imagine. The only thing good about it is that you can use it at the ATM. You can't use the card at very many stores... All stores in my area take VISA!!! |

| "Service in decline" |
For the last 3 years I have had this card without any problem. Probably because I did not have to bring any problem to Bank of Montreal's (BMO) customer service. A few months ago I made a purchase over the internet, and was bilked by the seller. I never received goods. I contacted BMO customer service to reverse the charge. Person on phone went through long spiel about how they could 'try' to reverse the charge, and that certain criteria first had to be met. That involved waiting at least 6 weeks (which I already had), that they had to send me a letter via snail mail, and that I had to fill it out and mail it back to them. They would then 'attempt' to make a reversal, but said there is no gaurantee. I was told that upon receipt of the letter, they would temporarily credit my card, which may be removed if they could not reverse the charge. I did this promptly after receiving their letter, and waited a couple weeks before calling to see if they received the letter. They confirmed receipt, but for some reason did not temporarily credit me. They told me I would see results in a week or so. Called back 3 weeks after that call as no credit had appeared. Customer Service was rude and would only tell me that they received it, but could not comment any further. They would not give me a time frame, and they advised that they could not help in any aspect of this, since it is not something they (customer service) need to deal with !! I asked that if I were to call a month later, would I be able further inquire about this, they stated that they would not be able to help me. Basically, they pass the buck to a non-reachable entity and absolve themselves of any responsibility to serving the customer. How convenient. So what happens if they 'never' resolve this ? Who do I talk to ???
In summary, if you use this card for internet purchases, you may have difficulty when it comes time for the credit card company to stand behind you in protecting your purchases. Plus, their customer service has not been good to deal with for a couple of other minor concerns. I don't know if customer support for their savings and chequing accounts are provided by the same people as their Mastercard, but it sure seems like it. Their customer service for general banking accounts have also been poor, and in a couple cases, rude. I will be cutting up this card once I have removed the current balance, and will change to another that is more in tune with servicing the customer. I have also begun switching over my chequing and savings to another bank. I know that banks and credit cards can be difficult to deal with, but I think BMO and its Mastercard go one step further, and make it even harder. |

| "A Good Card" |
We were given the offer of getting the Bank of Montreal Mastercard through my husband's union. There are two things that I really like about this card compared to others.
The first is that we applied for a secondary card for me. Usually this card either comes in the wage earners same, or in the spouse name but with identifical account numbers. Our Mastercard has given each of a us a distinct account number eventhough the bill is sent to the same address. I really like this feature because we always can tell who has used the card, if I'm the one that has put on a purchase they show my account number on the bill, if it is my husband then account number is on the bill. For a woman this is wonderful because in doing it this way I am able to develop my own credit rating so that should a day ever come that I have to take out a loan I have a credit history for myself that they can check on. The other benefit is that at least once a we are given a month where we can skip a payment without having it adversely affect the credit rating. |

| After a secondary credit review they decided to cancell my card without notification. I would not recommend this card to anyone!!! |

| "The best so far!" |
| The interest rate is low. I get my air miles when I charge products to my credit card. It is there when I need it especially when I need to make car or hotel reservation. The company has always been helpful. I do appreciate Bank of Montreal because of its good services. |

| "My Credit Card my Freedom" |
Ever since I got this Credit Card I was able to do all I needed to do. Didn't have to think about being embarrased if I don't have any money I knew that if I forget my money from home I will have my new friend with me at all the times.
I am student and also this card gave me freedom that I will be able to go throu it all. I believe this CC is the best thing that happened to me. |
