| "A card that does what it's supposed to do and a little more..." |
Well, no annual fee, high APR as usual but...
Extended warranty is an incredible benefit. Basically, it doubles the manufacturer's warranty of a purchase up to one year. And they respect their engagement. Used it with washing machine and mp3 player. Saved a lot. Prefer that to a measly 1% dividend, especially when buying electronics or fragile goods. |

| I have had three separate instances where card was used fraudently. Has never happened with other cards |

| I've had mine for over 2 years now. When i first got it, the credit limit was $500. Now my credit limit is $3000, and i didn't even ask them to raise it, lol. Customer service is good. |

| "CIBC Tellers and the bank itself." |
| I don't know about everyone else but I find that within the last year that CIBC is trying to pull little scams, errr, "customer benefits" where they automatically sign you up for some "amazing service that you need to have" and for your convenience you will be automatically renewed every month until you discover you don't like the "amazing service that you need to have". Oh and the phone call usually comes at about supper time with a hard to understand voice and it will cost you money to be automatically registered for the "amazing service that you need to have" but of course only for your convenience. I didn't fall for the $5.00 cheque that CIBC sent me either, because if I had cashed it, then it would have "registered me for my convenience" to one of these scams, errr, "amazing services that I need to have". |

| "Don't bother calling for assistance" |
| I had my card issued while in University through the Campus CrediKit deal. Great way to start out a credit rating, but if you want/need to contact the VISA office, don't even bother calling them. After pressing numbers in the automated system I usually found that I ended up getting disconnected. |
