| "Dont get Chase!" |
| Chase officailly sucks. Listen to all the other reviews. I have had a card with them for almost a year, then all of a sudden a few months ago I recieved a notice saying that they closed my account. I have never been late with payments and have always paid more than my minimun balance. When I called to ask why they cancelled my account, they said they cant tell me anything and I need to obtain a credit report at my own expense if I want any help. Then they skipped a month sending a bill and I was charged a late fee. When I called to tell them, they were very inconsiderate saying that they will not under any circumstance reverse the late fee, even though I never recieved a bill. And to top it off they called my phone 16 times in one day stating that I needed to pay the fee that I didnt know I had at the time. Chase is not worth the hassle nor the harrassment. I wouldnt reccommend them at all! |

| "Can't be trusted" |
| I recently received a notice of change in terms. Most notable was the increase in my minimum payment from 2% to 5% of the balance + Interest. This is ridiculous. I am a small business owner. I carry a large balance on equipment purchases. My minimum went from $ 500.00 to 1,250.00 per month. When I spoke to a representative to find a solution he suggested closing the account. I decided to wait and think about it. Two weeks later I called to closed the account. I was then told that even if I closed the account they would raise the minimum payment. Even though this policy has yet to take affect on the account. I asked for a supervisor and was told by her, "We are losing money on people like you who advantage of low interest rate offers." Notices clearly state if you do not wish to accept changes to your card policy you can cancel the account and continue to payoff the card under the current terms. How is that even legal? This company just posted a 3.5 Billion dollar profit last quarter. I hope they burn in He!!. |

| "Good customers get no respect" |
| Ive been a customer for over 10 years w/chase. Yesterday i was late for the first time by only 2 hrs. Long and short; They would not work with me, so I ate a 14.95 transfer fee and cancelled with them. then I promptly went to Capital One. |

| "High Interest Rates" |
| This is an awful company and card. There is nothing honest about them. I''m waiting for them to go bust! I will pay the balance. The card is already cut up. Every time you pay on line you can never log back on with the same ID *or* code. It is very frustrating. Customer service is awful |

| "The worst customer service ever" |
I have had a chase platinum mastercard for over 3 years and just cancelled the card.
2 years ago,my mail was stolen and the courtesy checks were used to make fraudulent purchases. I was hit with all types of service charges and fees for purchases I never made. It took me 8 months of frustrating effort to clear these charges with this bank. Silly me for thinking things were straightened out.
18 months later, I took advantage of a promotional offer that expired recently. The interest rate went up to 30%!!!! the customer service rep that handled my call when I cancelled the card was one of the most rude individuals I have ever encountered. She kept insisting that it was my fault their rate was 30% ...phuleeeze. They never took the care or effort to restore my account after the fraudulent charges were made.
I will never do business with this bank again.

| "Chase Visa and Mastercards" |
| After horrible personal experience I warn everyone away from Chase credit cards. Any problem outside the routine cannot be entrusted to so-called "Customer Service" representatives, who tell the customer one thing while their company does the opposite. They will not give their real name or contact number, so you can never talk to the same personal again, and they fail to record what you told them or they told you. Then Chase goes on to make false and misleading reports to all the credit-rating agencies. There was nobody at Chase who could even read a carefully-written letter explaining all the facts, much less reply to it. Stay away from Chase for your own good! If you have a Chase Visa or Mastercard (regardless of type), dump it before anything unusual happens and you are shafted by this irresponsible company. |

| chase will start using an average daily balance method of calculating finance charges instead of the two-cycle method Because they lost many consumers due to their ridiculous high interest rates. |

| Comparing to other major banks, Chase has a very messy Pricing/Interest Rate System. Always have to keep an eye on this bank. UNORGANIZED BANK! |

| "hello I'm back to post my comments" |
My previous post was on 04/05/2006 page 11-20 .
I finally closed all my accounts: checking & joint savings accts ,about 2 or 3 weeks ago/ the mastercard & Visa we're already closed 4 or 5 mons. ago / the bank mngr asked me if there's anything they can do to keep me from closing the accounts. That's ridiculous!!
He sound like he's not aware of their bad dealings with customers!!
Last week , I saw reps from CHASE were in the ground floor by the entrance of the ofc bldg where I work here in Chicago, seems like they were trying to setup new accounts ... but I didn't see anyone came over to sign up.
Now that's what I call " KARMA" to CHASE!
That's an indication they are losing a lot of customers.!!!
