| "Can't depend on card being available to use" |
| Four times their Fraud Dept. has suspended my card until I can verify activity - twice during Christmas shopping so I couldn't continue shopping and twice over trivial purchases. At no time have purchases even gotten close to my limit and were in my home town. Certainly can't trust the card to be usable while traveling. BTW, Customer Assistance is outsourced to India. |

| "A terrible bank" |
| They raised the interest rate of my card to over 27% for reasons unknown. Website is constantly having problems either going down for no reason, or security breaches. |

| "Beware!!!" |
| Avoid doing business with Chase at all costs. I had an account in good standing always paid on time more than the minimum. I guess they weren't making enough money off of me so they closed my account without any warning or reason. This happened while I was traveling and counting on my card to cover expenses. Needless to say it created a real problem and I was forced to scramble for cash to get home etc. Please stay away!!! |

| "Stay Away from this Card If your Smart" |
| I had a WaMu card for sometime before Chase took it over, I always made my payments ahead of time and more than required, the payment dates change and I missed one after nearly 2 years and they jacked up my rate to 31.99%, I accepted it because it was my fault that I missed the date, so then I pay it off to 100.00 balance and they cut my credit limit in half 4 days after I paid it off, filled a complaint and the response I got in return is sorry you are dissatified and thats it. If you have any sense you will not even think about using this bank for credit cards or any other reason. Awful service!Awful APR! |

| "Dont get Chase!" |
| Chase officailly sucks. Listen to all the other reviews. I have had a card with them for almost a year, then all of a sudden a few months ago I recieved a notice saying that they closed my account. I have never been late with payments and have always paid more than my minimun balance. When I called to ask why they cancelled my account, they said they cant tell me anything and I need to obtain a credit report at my own expense if I want any help. Then they skipped a month sending a bill and I was charged a late fee. When I called to tell them, they were very inconsiderate saying that they will not under any circumstance reverse the late fee, even though I never recieved a bill. And to top it off they called my phone 16 times in one day stating that I needed to pay the fee that I didnt know I had at the time. Chase is not worth the hassle nor the harrassment. I wouldnt reccommend them at all! |

| "Can't be trusted" |
| I recently received a notice of change in terms. Most notable was the increase in my minimum payment from 2% to 5% of the balance + Interest. This is ridiculous. I am a small business owner. I carry a large balance on equipment purchases. My minimum went from $ 500.00 to 1,250.00 per month. When I spoke to a representative to find a solution he suggested closing the account. I decided to wait and think about it. Two weeks later I called to closed the account. I was then told that even if I closed the account they would raise the minimum payment. Even though this policy has yet to take affect on the account. I asked for a supervisor and was told by her, "We are losing money on people like you who advantage of low interest rate offers." Notices clearly state if you do not wish to accept changes to your card policy you can cancel the account and continue to payoff the card under the current terms. How is that even legal? This company just posted a 3.5 Billion dollar profit last quarter. I hope they burn in He!!. |

| "Good customers get no respect" |
| Ive been a customer for over 10 years w/chase. Yesterday i was late for the first time by only 2 hrs. Long and short; They would not work with me, so I ate a 14.95 transfer fee and cancelled with them. then I promptly went to Capital One. |

| "High Interest Rates" |
| This is an awful company and card. There is nothing honest about them. I''m waiting for them to go bust! I will pay the balance. The card is already cut up. Every time you pay on line you can never log back on with the same ID *or* code. It is very frustrating. Customer service is awful |

| "The worst customer service ever" |
I have had a chase platinum mastercard for over 3 years and just cancelled the card.
2 years ago,my mail was stolen and the courtesy checks were used to make fraudulent purchases. I was hit with all types of service charges and fees for purchases I never made. It took me 8 months of frustrating effort to clear these charges with this bank. Silly me for thinking things were straightened out.
18 months later, I took advantage of a promotional offer that expired recently. The interest rate went up to 30%!!!! the customer service rep that handled my call when I cancelled the card was one of the most rude individuals I have ever encountered. She kept insisting that it was my fault their rate was 30% ...phuleeeze. They never took the care or effort to restore my account after the fraudulent charges were made.
I will never do business with this bank again.
