| "I recently found out that my card was still active!" |
I opened this account to take advantage of no finance charge for a year on a digital camera. That's when the digital cameras were selling for over $500. That was back in 2001/2. I just got a letter in the mail stating changes to the original agreement. Which indicates someone didn't cancel my credit card like we agreed after I paid the account in full. I haven't received a statement or any information about my credit card in 3 years, so there is no balance on it. But, since it is "active" it does affect my credit rating. Now, I need to find a phone number and yell at someone for their "misunderstanding" on "CLOSING MY ACCOUNT".

| "HERE'S MY CARD" |
Enclosed is my Circuit City card which myself and my family will not longer be using. You will find a check for the balance remaining on our bill. I will also be telling all of my friends and everyone I come in contact not to shop at Circuit City. I feel we have been done an unjustice the last 2 months by being charged a late fee. We have always paid our bill on time and have never had this happen. For the last 2 months our payment was mailed from SOUTH CAROLINA in plenty of time to get to GEORGIA!!!! It had 4 to 5 days to arrive there but was not posted to our account for 10 days. I suggest that you look at the mail date on the envelope and also the date on the check. I feel that you need to get some Customer Service Reps and Accounting Clerks that know what they are doing!!!!! Anyone can let something lie on their desks for days before it is posted but I think this is poor business ethics. So to rectify this situation you will find my card enclosed and will not have to ever worry about me or my families doing business there again. By the way the $70.00 late fee charges are not included. I would like to talk with someone a little higher up than a Customer Service Rep. about these charges!!!!! My husband talked with a lady who did not want to listen to anything he had to say. He also reminded her to look back and see how many times before the check had always made it there in time and was always mailed around the same time from the same place. SO WHAT HAS CHANGED????????

Do not like your card or your way of doing business. You make it impossible to ask questions or speak to any human being. This is the worst card I have ever had.
All I want to do is cancel it! How do you suppose I do that??? |

| "Changing Personal Information" |
| I recently called to change my mailing/billing address and home telephone number. I was told I could not change that information unless I called from my home telephone number. I've moved and my previous home telephone number is not active so I was calling from my work number. Since I couldn't call from the number he had on record, he asked me to verify my credit limits on my other major credit cards. I, of course, didn't have that information, so I asked if I could cancel my credit card and he said yes. So the bottom line is that I wasn't able to change my personal information, but I was able to cancel my credit card. |

| "DEAR GOD PEOPLE!" |
| Listen...maybe you people don't understand that ALL credit card companies work the same way. Lower aprs are paid off before higher aprs. Don't you all read the terms and agreements? Of course not. DON'T SIGN FOR SOMETHING YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. It's a normal credit card, with normal fees. For example, customers call and ask, "Why did I get a late fee?" Let's dissect that question. "Why did I get a LATE fee?" BECAUSE YOUR PAYMENT WAS LATE. The website tells you how long it takes for a payment to post, the store tells you how long it takes for an in store payment to post, the statement shows that it takes 7-10 days for the payment to post, and you have the option of making an over the phone payment for $10 for all those people who don't pay attention to the due date ON YOUR STATEMENT. Now, I'm not saying the customer service is the best, but some people ask for things that are not able to be done. Why should the bank pay for YOUR mistake? YOU went overlimit, YOU pay the fee. YOU made a payment over the phone, no we won't waive YOUR fee. Oh, and you thought you paid in full? Let's explain trailing finance charges. Every bill you get has a finance charge. It's from the previous month. Finance charges are accrued daily. That means you'll get one last bill with the PREVIOUS months finance charges after you have paid your card off in full. You don't think you get a free month with no finance charges, do you? If you cannot handle a credit card, DO NOT SIGN FOR ONE. |

| "most unhumane people behind this credit card" |
| IM in the military and just came back from the ship when i found out my wife never paid my bills but took all my money for over two years. I have all the proof i need, to find out First North America refuses to work with me or settle. I cant get a loan and now live off 25.00 a month because of the bills. I finally got a break with a military loan up to 3500.00 and my bill is at 6100.00 now, with all the interest. They said they didnt care about my situation and they get paid all the same. I will have to file bankruptsy if they dont settle. I will write the congressman and sentor for starters if they wont settle. Anyone else will settle but them.Because of people like them more and more people are filing bankruptsy. |

| These people are the must uncaring people Ive ever dealt with. They take your payment.... ON TIME>>>> and then take two days to post it then charge you 35dollars for THEIR being late getting it posted....GEEEEEZZZXXZ |

| "Credit Card Company incompetence" |
12/03: Purchased a t.v. at Circuit City with new FNANB card issued through Circuit City.
07/04: Called for "pay off". Was given an amount. Paid it in full.
09/04: Received a bill with "late charges". Called. They said they gave me the wrong payoff amount in July and I still owed $43.50 plus a late charge. They agreed to credit off the late charge if I paid them this balance.
I paid it that same day.
10/04: Received yet another bill. This time for $71.50. After 45 minutes on the phone (with a rep that refused to identify herself or transfer me to a supervisor), I was told that the last pay off amount was wrong and that I owed $3.00 plus two months of late fees.
I called back immediately, got a new person, and they apoligized, said that if I paid the $3.00 within 24 hours, they would credit off the rest and close the account. I paid it off within two hours.
They are now calling my home and my business demanding that I pay the balance (Now $78.50).
I will not pay any more. I will sue them if they continue to harrass.
Now that's a well run, honest company.

| "Absolutely Awful" |
| I paid my payment 2 days early and I was charged a late fee the next month. They will NOT give back a late fee unless it is the banks error. You must pay a payment every month during their "alloted time frame" ONLY. If you pay it early, it will be posted to the previous months billing cycle and a fee will be posted to your account. The customer service team was rude and uncaring. I think this is Absolutely Awful behavior to someone who actually pays their bills. |

| "Worst Customer Service Ever!!!!!" |
| I have had the worst experience with First North American National Bank! I over paid online by mistake on the Circuit City Credit Card, and they sent the credit my old address. Once I called to find out where the check was, customer service indicated they had received the returned check. I updated my address. They transferred me to another department to release the check. I was told the check would be in the mail within two weeks. Well, I called two weeks later, and they said, the check had been returned and that they were could not release the check until they had a new address. Well, that's what I was told before. They had my new address, but the customer service representatives were not informed enough. So, 6 weeks later they give me the same story every time I call!! When I spoke with Yvonne, a customer service supervisor, she was very condescending! I kept faily accurate notes every time I spoke with someone, and she tried to tell me that no one would tell me when the check was going to be released! Now, I have to pursue legal action over $600.00!!! Do you think if you owed First American National Bank, you could hold their payment for over two months without penalty or being reported to a credit agency???. I don't think so. |
