| I wanted a card where I earned mile, but did not want to pay an annual fee. I may not earn as many miles but I can charge big ticket purchases, not carry a balance and obtain miles. |

| After 4 months of trying to prove that I did not receieve my sign up bonus miles, I've been forced to close my account. |

| "Suddenly raises hike" |
I've been with citibank for more than six years. They've been responsive in lowering my interest rates (I don't tend to carry a balance). I receive no benefits, no cash back, no miles, nothing. They just send me word that they are increasing my interest rate, not in response to any late payment, but simply that they were doing it. I could take it or leave it. I can't understand why they would bother to estrange good customers.

| The miles are a good deal if you pay off your balbnce every month to avoid interest charges. |

| This card did not issue me all the promised airline points and I had problems with a seperate Citibank card and so they closed this card on me without any warning. |

| "Worth While Only IF You Fly AAL Mucho." |
| Good card for those on the road with AAL but the $85 annual fee is pricy if you are going to use this as a normal card. |

| "Tried to rip me off" |
| I called them to get them to lower my interest rate and they did. I later got a letter telling me if payments were not on time, my rate would be raised higher than it was before I had it lowered. Because of this letter, I sent my payment in even earlier than I normally would. My payments were never late by the way. Well, guess what this one was late. I gave it over 2 weeks to get there. My discover card which I mailed a week before it was due and mailed after Citibank posted days before Citibank did. I called Citibank and told them there is no reason why they shouldn't have received my payment. They didn't charge me, but let me know if it happened again they would. So I overnighted a payment in full to them and it took about 4 - 5 days to be posted. Needless to say, I cancelled that card and will never go back. |

| "Great card for mileage" |
| No complaints! I charge enough to receive at least two free tickets a year, more than worth the annual fee. Customer service very helpful when I needed my credit limit increased for a couple of major purchases - had an increase in less than a minute. Not a good card if you don't charge very much, or carry balances. |

| "I thought it was a typo" |
I thought this offer was a mistake. It is an insult to be offered a card that is going to rob you blind with an APR of 24.99%. People who are in default on some credit cards don't even pay that much.
I have good credit and this is one of the worst offers I ever received. |

| "Customer Service " |
My experiences with Citi bank have not been good:
1) Endless calls from Citi Bank telemarketeers - 4 in one evening is not uncommon.
2) The placing of a 'Protection Fee' on my account having not signed as to is approval but apparently "I had agreed to it following a call from one of their telemarketeers". Something I always refuse to do! After much complaining spread over 3 months the fee was removed an payments made refunded.
3) My card was refused in Switzerland with the comment from the shop that all purchases had to be phoned through to the USA and that takes on average 30-40 minutes. I used my Amex Card instead! |
