"Compass Visa Card"
I paid my account on time every month for as long as I had my Compass Credit card. Even though I had a balance on my card, Compass cancelled the card without any explanation or reason.
I would not recomend Compass Bank or any of its services or promotions to anyone.
 
Most attractive feature: None
Least attractive feature: Compass Bank itself is not user friendly

"Not a very good card, don't waste your time"
I had this card for a little over a year. I used it to purchase my computer while the 0% intro rate was in effect. I never missed a payment, and always paid more than the minimum. I paid the balance shortly after the intro rate expired, and then I stopped using the card for awhile. Of their own accord, the company cancelled my credit card. The reason proffered is that my balance was too high on other accounts, completely unrelated to my Compass Visa account. It is more likely that they weren't making enough money off of me. Very disappointing.
 
Most attractive feature: Decent credit limit; 0% APR for six (6) months
Least attractive feature: Poor customer service, will close account if you don't maintain high balance

"Bad service"
Compass Bank does not give a full accounting of your account funding when you call. Their automated system gives you a balance that misleads you into thinking you have more money available than you actually do. You have to ask to speak with a person (which you get charged for) to get your real balance. They charge $35.00 for overdraft fees and don't offer overdraft protection unless you go to the branch to sign up for it.
