I have had this card for about a year and a half now. I got it with the idea that if I want to rebuild my crappy credit, I will have to PAY for it. So I started out with the $500 minimum and the fees stacked up. I have never missed a payment. I have never had problems with their online pay system. I have never had any issues with things posting late. Again, I got this card with the idea that I really want to rebuild a good credit history. So, I pay the bill when i get it...sometimes before. All you people that complain about them holding your checks and sitting on payments are just making excuses for your poor credit habits.
I have had my card stolen twice. Both times it has been crappy because I have had to make the monthly payment over the phone.. but oh well. My credit rating went from a 509 back in jan 05 to 718 last month. I cant say enough good about this card.
if you are seriously willing to rebuild your credit, this is one to do it with. how much is good credit worth to you? for me its easily worth the $500 i paid in fees over the past 2 years. ive saved more than that alone on my mortgage rate and other CC offers. |

| "credit building" |
I think this card is very good in building credit. I previously read bad reviews on this card but so far it has been a positive experience. I only thing is that they do send the statements so late that you would have to mail the payment immediately for them to receive it on time. I beat them but checking my account status on line & mail my payment BEFORE I receive the statement.

| "Great Credit Rebuilder" |
| If you need to rebuild your credit, this is a great card to have to do just that. The APR is pretty high and the fees are high too, but when you have bad credit and need to improve it, this is one of the only ways to do that. |

| "NEVER EVER GET THIS CARD" |
| Responsible card holders suffer from the use of this one. You have to call long distance & hold for long times to get in touch with them for billing or other questions. There is a fee to pay by phone, and please, please don not think you are not accrueing fees while your payment is in transit. Let's say you have a $300 credit limit - you spend $250. By the time you pay interest, the monthly fee with it's interest and mail your payment which you just received a bill for, the payment is late. the following month, you are taxed for a late fee, an overlimit fee, and a monthly fee. They will do this for months well over a year. In fact they did it long after sending me notice that they had closed the acoount!! I would NEVER, EVER recommend this card to anyone. |

CCB also charges late fees when I believe it is their fault that the payment is late. I have given them an effortless way to receive their payments, through Citibank electronic bill pay.
They can't even receive payments on time from the largest financial institution in the world. I've seen them sit on payments for up to 5 business days. |

| "Cross Country Bank has issues" |
I think perhaps the greatest feature of Cross Country Bank is that they "forget" to update your credit report when paying off balances. They have missed reporting the past several months and I'm not sure what their motivation is behind this. My credit report shows a CCB balance above and beyond the credit limit, which has been inaccurate for about 6 months.
Ocassionally CCB will send out a letter stating that "They're doing their part" to help better my credit, but I would like to see some sort of evidence of this.
If I can give any advise, stay away from CCB. Even if you don't charge things you will still end up with a high balance due to fees and all sorts of miscellaneous charges.

| "Exorbitant Fees, Worthless Customer Service" |
| Never use the online payment. They will not post it timely, in order for them to charge more fees. A $100 purchase can turn into a $300 payment due to their exorbitant fees, worthless customer service personnel, and flawed on line payment system. |

THIS COMPANY CHARGES $6.00 A MONTH PARTICIPATION FEE, JUST FOR HAVING THE CREDITCARD
THEY ALSO CHARGE AN ANNUAL FEE $50.00 PER YEAR
AND IF YOU MAKE A PAYMENT OVER THE INTERNET THEY CHARGE YOU A $6.95 FEE , THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD AND THERE REALLY GOOD ABOUT CHARGING YOU A 35.00 LATE FEE, AS WELL AS A 35.00 OVER THE LIMIT FEE. NOT A GOOD CREDITCARD TO HAVE , IT HAS ABSOULUTELY NO BENFITS. |
