"Consumer beware"
I pay my bill every month in full. When I had an an unxpected carbill that exceed my credit limit of $5000 by $53 the card was declined and my car was not released to me. I had to take a cab home.
This is the most unfriendly- terrible credit card company out that will charge you a high APR and nickel and dime you with fees. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!

"Embarrassing moment"
Our Prodigy Mastercard was taken over by Direct Merchants Bank this past month.
We have never had trouble before now;but 2 days ago,we were declined charges-twice;even though our $3000.00 credit limit is in good standing;& we`ve never been late with a payment.
What makes it worse;is the terrible Customer Service we received when trying to find out why it was declined.twice;The Customer Rep was rude;did not want to release any info to me even though it is held jointly;We wrote a E.mail which has been ignored so far;& are still wondering why 2 charges were declined.We would like to warn everyone;not to do business with this bank;unless you like being embarrassed in a crowded ck- out lane.
