| "Ten dollar fee " |
| WFNNB assesses a ten dollar fee if you don't schedule your online payment two days prior to the due date. There is no fee assessed if you send the payment via snail mail and it is received before 5 pm CST on the due date then sits on a desk for an additional three days over a holiday weekend. When I pointed out the absurdity of penalizing someone for paying prior to the due date, electronically, versus snail mail. The customer service supervisor copped an attitude. I foolishly believed this attitude impossible so I tactfully walked her through it again using a different scenario and got the same attitude. Eddie Bauer, I like your clothing but refuse to do business with anyone as shady as WFNNB. Woolrich and Columbia like my money just fine. |

| I agree with all the others. I didn't receive a email from world and got charge for late fee. They drop my credit to 100 dollars, what am I suppose to buy with that. |

| "Never recieved bill" |
| Nothing but problems with this card. I'm NEVER late in paying any of my bills. Usually I pay them online. I've had nothing but problems with this company so I have set it up online and just pay as soon as I get the bill in the mail. But this time I never even got the bill. By the time I realized there was a payment due they wanted to change me $10 extra for a same day payment. I tried to send them an email...of course server was down. Then I tried to call but they are on Eastern time and NEVER answer the phone even after going through 15 prompts. I will be canceling my card as soon as I can get through to them tomorrow morning. |

| "EB Credit Card" |
| They would rather loose a customer than wavy the $25 late fee. I have never been late on any payment in years until I got a new postal carrier on my route, now I have had 2 late payments since January. Tthey waved the first but would not have the 2nd one (that was 1 day late). |

| "Late Fee / No Statements" |
| My mother got an E.B. credit card as recommended by the store associate to save 10% on her days' purchase last November. E.B. or more specifically, World Financial Network Natonal Bank never sent a statement. Here it is, 10 months later and WFNNB is finally calling her, asking her to pay the bill. Mind you, they STILL have never sent a statement and they request her social security number. In today's environment of identity theft, I'd think it would suffice to have her name and address and to have contacted her by phone. Also, they want the $25 late fee and this may affect Mom's credit rating, which has always been impeccible. Mom is happy to pay what she owes, but she wants a copy of the statement showing what was purchased and when and for how much. Is that too much to ask? |

| "I never rec'd a bill in Feb. & now have a $25.00 late fee which they will not deduct. I have written letters but they do not respond. " |
| Customer service called me on March 18, 2005 & told me about overdue account. The woman who called was very rude. I told her that my payment record was excellent and that I never rec'd a Feb. bill. She told me that I must pay the late charge of $25.00. I am cancelling my card and would never deal with them again! If I don't receive a bill, why would I have to pay a late fee. |

| "Works for me!" |
| Applied for card only to receive in-store promotion discount, but have used it faithfully ever since. They send monthly 10% discount coupon. My only encounter w/customer service was a good one-the system automatically charged a shipping fee for a $2 donation to plant trees. The customer service rep credited my account immediately and apologized for the inconvenience. I was impressed! |

| "Eddie Bauer Credit Card - World Financial Network National Bank" |
| I respected Eddie Bauer as a retailer, and so when they offered 25% off on current purchases, I decided to open a Card account. The card arrived and included 22.8% APR, $25 late fee, and $1 min finance charge (rates and fees much higher that a Visa card I usually use.) I cancelled the card. The first bill then arrived with a shortened billing period (10 days vs 30 days) and I was improberly charged a late fee and minimum finance fee. I found it impossible to contact WFNNB Customer service and speak to a live person - all responces were automated. At great time and effort I was finally able to get a separate (unpublished) number 1-866-6746, and resolve the billing error. However, although I have cancelled the card twice (once by mail, and once on line) my account is still active. Research on the web shows that WFNNB is owned by Advanced Data Systems, Inc. (ticker ADS). ADS claims 73 million accounts outstanding, and specializes in "Private Lable Credit Services" such as the Eddie Bauer Card. Eddie Bauer does not own the card. They sold it to WFNNB (ADS.) Watch out for these "Private Label Credit Cards" |
