| What horrible service. Was told by a customer service rep that there was a two day grace period for my payment which was due. Had bank transfer problems and was going to be close to the due date so I called and rec'd the "grace period" info. Payment was rec'd withing the so called grace period. However, the rep was totally inaccurate, as I found out a month later with interest charges in the thousands of dollars. No help from customer service. BEWARE!!! Pay cash do not open an account with these people. |

| "The Worst Credit Card Ever" |
| The have the worst customer service. I sent my payment to the wrong company right after they switched to Monogram. I called to tell them and they said they would take care of it. 4 months later it is still not resolved. I have been told something different every time I have called and now they are saying that they cannot take care of it. they say that I should have gotten my money back from the old company and sent a new payment in. I will NEVER use this card again and as soon as this issue is resoved (if ever) I will cancel it. |

| "Finance Charges Accrue on Phone Payment Fee" |
| I made a payment by phone which cost me $10 (a bit steep in this day) so that I knew the payment would be on time. What I was not aware of was that the $10 charge was not pulled directly from my checking account (which in most other transactions of this kind has been the case), but charged to my Ethan Allen Card and on top of that, finance charges started accruing the minute that $10 phone payment fee was charged to my account. I was charged $1.00 in finance charges on $10 for a period of 11 days. I called to inquire about this and the customer service representative said that I should have been told this information, which I do not recall. They ended up crediting the $1.00, but having read previous posts about this credit card, I am paying it off and NEVER using it again. This does not work like any other credit card I have seen. BUYER BEWARE!!! |

| "Mongram" |
| Never, ever, ever would I do business with any company financing through Monogram. They are the absolute worse. They go out of their way to make business with them a nightmare. Payments are posted late, late fees of $35 are posted immediately and payments are applied to balances that are not due until six months down the road, yet the balance that "is" due gets slapped with a 24% interest rate. NEVER, EVER USE THIS COMPANY. |

| "Shop somewhere else." |
| I had an Ethan Allen 'line of credit' through MBNA for a while with no problem. Inexplicably, EA switches to Monogram, and I will no longer let my wife buy anything from EA except with cash. They charged me 21% on purchases, when it should have been 9.99%, told me I was "uninformed" and should "try reading the credit agreement," and hung up the phone on me (when I was being nothing more than courteous, but firm and direct), before finally admitting the mistake, changing the APR on the purchases, but absolutely refusing to refund the finance charges I'd been overcharged. Ethan Allen was of little help and barely more responsive. I just paid off the card, closed it, and will certainly buy less from Ethan Allen in the future. |

| They receive payment checks but post to accounts several days late to force interest to accrue. |
