"The reason Freedom Credit Union Visa is my favorite card"
I find that having a Visa with my own credit union makes me feel more secure than having it with a major bank where there's a tendency to become "lost" in the shuffle. When I call with a question or problem I know who I'm talking to and more times than not the customer service representative knows me. They come up with creative solutions to solve payment issues and consolidation ideas. The interest rate is a low 10% fixed rate and there is no annual fee. This will never change. I didn't and don't have to worry about a lot of red tape with this card because it's coming from a place that I've known and trusted for years.
 
Most attractive feature: The interest rate is low (10%) and fixed and it's with the same institution I bank with
Least attractive feature: I wouldn't call this negative but it's not a well known financial institution
