"TERRIBLE CARD."
I've had this card since my 18th birthday. I didn't have much credit, so obviously didn't have many options. My interest rate is really high, which I expected. It has been 5 years and my rate hasn't changed. I have never made a late payment. They have terrible customer service. Every time I call the agents don't seem happy and are never helpful. I'm keeping this card since I've had it the longest, but I don't use it anymore and would not recommend it to anyone.

"Terrible Card"
Stay away from this credit card, these people are criminals. I have a rate of 29.90%. When I called to see if I could get a better rate they told me there was nothing they could do. Terrible customer service, very unhelpful. I had another credit card (Citi Card) with a high rate and when I called they were very nice and helpful and lowered my rate to 6%.

"THE WORST CREDIT CARD EVER!"
I signed up for this card to build my credit. My parents have helped me with the bills while I was in college. Little did they know the bank had increased the interest rate to 29.90%. We have not made a single late payment, so there is no reason why my interest rate should rise to the penalty rate. I called customer service and all they said was "this is the market rate, I can't do anything to change it." I am in the process of terminating my account, but recently they charged me $55 for the annual fee for the upcoming year, as I'm trying to terminate my account. Not only that, they charge an interest rate on the annual fee as well. I now have an account with City Forward and had completely transferred my balance from 1st Financial Bank. 1st Financial Bank takes advantage of college students who are trying to build their credits, this credit card cannot be trusted. I don't understand how the employees at this bank can sleep at night knowing how many people they have screwed over and are continuing to screw over. So if you are even having the slightest thought of signing up for this credit card, DON'T!

Most attractive feature: For someone trying to build their credit, this can be a start, but it's still a trap
Least attractive feature: They raise the limit easily only to absurdly increase to interest rate to 29.90%.

"TERRIBLE SERVICE/NO INCENTIVES"
I have been with this bank for over 10 yrs. I have faithfully paid my balance off, each time it was at a lower balance or maxed out. I have (HAD) a $13,000 limit and maxed it out twice, also paying it off twice. Just recently I separated from the military and had to use the card for all of my finances until my income is restored. I called to see if I can get a lower interest rate for awhile and all they did was talk in circles for the end answer to be something that did not benefit me at all. They have the RUDEST customer service. It took me going through about 3 managers before I got one who "seemed" to care about the customers. Even still, after telling him my situation, nothing. I would never recommend them to anyone. They offer no incentives and are not negotiable to help loyal customers during hard times. The only reason I kept them this long is b/c of the high amount, but that is exactly how they get you. I have cancelled my card and would NEVER recommend them.

Most attractive feature: RAISE YOUR LIMIT EASILY, JUST TO TACK ON HIGH INTEREST RATES LATER. RIP OFF
Least attractive feature: RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. NO INCENTIVES FOR LOYAL CUSTOMERS.

"Rude "
Rude customer service who will call you 16 times a day but then not let you make a payment. Old, outdated e-bill pay system that doesn't even let you pay from multiple accounts. Just a general hassle all around. I would NEVER recommend this bank or credit card to anyone i cared about. I have had nothing but irksome, rude, bothersome experiences with them and I will NEVER go back.

"Beware!"
For the first year I had this card, it was great, loved that I could actually build credit as I just graduated high school and needed to build credit somehow. But as the years have gone by, my interest rate has SKYROCKETED for absolutly NO REASON!!! I made a purchase last week of 45 dollars, they charged me another 45 dollars plus 16 dollar interest charge? I had plenty of room on my card to be doing this, so why the extra charges? Seriously the worst company ever, and when I call to get information I hardly ever get someone who can speak plain english.....dont even consider this company

Most attractive feature: Good for beginners, but only for the 1st year!!!
Least attractive feature: EVERYTHING! Worst credit card company ever!

"Worst Credit Card Company Ever!"
Please don't even consider getting a card with this company. Companies like this are what caused the economy to crash in my opinion. They will jack your interest rate so high your head will spin. Then customer service will just lie to you and say this is the best interest rate you can get

"Good Card For Careful User"
I started with the same offer as everyone else--0% APR for balances under $250.00. I have an appropriate APR for balances above $250.00, considering my credit score. I've missed the payment due date a couple times in the 6 years I have had the card. I called and the support rep was happy to remove the late fee since the rest of my payment history was good.

I have received a letter twice stating my APR would increase to 29.9%. All I had to was call and refuse the change to my account. My APR did not change. This does seem shady to me but as long as you pay attention to the notices you receive, you shouldn't be hit by the credit change.

I will add that I now have a rewards card that provides 1% cash back on all purchases. That is a meager reward but a reward all the same.

Most attractive feature: Good card for students to sensibly start improving their credit score.
Least attractive feature: Periodically attempts to raise APR to 29.9%.

"dangerous!"
my story is just like the others....I got it my first year in college with a low interest rate/credit limit. The credit limit continued to grow, as did the APR over the years. I was stupid when i was in college and racked up a big credit card bill. This credit card company makes it IMPOSSIBLE for you to pay off if you've racked up any kind of debt on it. An example: i used to pay $210 a month, and $200 of it went to interest. I finally took out a loan to pay it off because i just wasn't getting anywhere. It's finally under control and I'm just sorry I waited so long to do it!

Most attractive feature: good for beginners who can't get any other card to build their credit
Least attractive feature: high interest rate, fees

"1st Financial Bank cards are a rip-off!"
I got this card when I was starting college because it offered me 0% interest if I never spent over $250. Because I was in college I eventually spent over that amount and the interest was 13%. They raised my limit and my interest rate to 29.90% and at the bottom of the statement, they informed me that if I only pay the minimum payment, it would take me 29 YEARS and $17,000!!!! They also charge you $9 to make a payment unless it is an "emergency payment". BIGGEST RIP-OFF EVER! NEVER, NEVER USE THIS CARD!!! It is the worst mess I've ever gotten into! I'm only 22 and at this rate it will take me 29 more years to pay this card off. Don't get yourself into that situation! I have to apply for loans and other credit cards just to dig myself out of debt.

Most attractive feature: Offers you low or no interest if you spend under $250
Least attractive feature: Bad customer service, high interest rates, hidden fees, and shady business practices
