| "Dont ever activate this card......." |
I did not activate this card but I have fallen victim to this same type of fraud before. I received a phone call about 2 years ago for a credit card. They told me it was a secured visa and they needed $250.00 up front. I gave them the money and only got a form for a prepaid visa card...they basically stole my $250.00!! I would not let them keep it though....
HERE'S HOW TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!! READ UP
go to your bank find out what bank your money went to..(all transactions have tracking ability) call the bank personally that cashed your money. Ask to talk to management and let them know of the scam. they can give you additional information about the company or where to call. It took a few phone calls but I eventually got my money refunded from the president of the bank who cashed it. They were going to collect it back from the company. The bank knows information about every business that has an account with them just speak reasnably with them but be firm and get your money back!!!! |

| "First National Card! SCAMMMMMMM!!!!" |
| I was fooled by the company, but I am sooo glad that I found this site. I cancelled it the minute that I seen this site. I am actually still on hold to cancel this card... the customer service reps are very persistent and do not seem to take CANCEL very well. Thank you again for letting me know about this and giving me the chance to cancel before I got in too deep. |

| "SCAM!!!!" |
| I have on my credit file from about 7 years ago another card of the same nature that I never applied for and never activated. I cut the card up and shredded all the paperwork that came with it. But it is showing up as a charge off on my credit now. WATCH YOUR CREDIT REPORTS CLOSELY!!!! I received this other First National one recently. These people need to be put out to slaughter. I'm just hoping this one doesn't show up on my credit file like the last one did. I have faught hell to get that one off to no luck whatsoever. |

| I received this offer in the mail last week, and I thought it was too good to be true; since I did not apply for a credit card. In my opnion, if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is! This company must be reported to the Better Business Bureau because this is a scam, and operating scams can be against the law. I truly thank each of you for expressing your ratings, hopefully consumers can be warned against "crooks" like these! Again, many thanks for making the public aware! |

I received an unsolicited phone call on Monday, May 14, 2007, stating that I had been pre-approved with a credit card with a $2000.00 credit limit. I asked how my information was obtained because I did not recall applying for this card, and it was stated that I was turned down for another credit card and my information was forwarded to their membership services. I was explained that there would be a one time fee of $149.00 debited from my account that I have to use my card or it would automatically be charged $39.00 if it were not used. I was also told that all my positive/negative information would be reported to the three major credit bureaus. I stated several times in the conversation that I would just pay my phone bill or some other reoccurring bill with my credit card, which would keep my card active and show the credit bureaus I am serious about reestablishing my credit. I agreed with the terms and allowed 1st National Card Services to debit the $149.00 from my checking account. It was stated that I would receive membership information and a catalogue within the next 10 – 14 business days. On Tuesday, May 29, 2007 I received the membership information in the mail, expecting a credit card. I was highly upset because it was never stated anywhere in initial conversations that ALL my purchases would be made through a catalogue. I called customer service today, Wednesday, May 30, 2007 and stated that I was never told that was receiving a catalogue line of and would have never signed up for the services if that would’ve been made clear in the initial phone call. The customer service rep on the other end told me that it was made clear and that I would not receive a refund. I then repeated that it was never stated any where in the conversation that ALL purchased had to be made through a catalogue and was told I was establishing a new line of credit, with a credit card. The rep then played back my authorization statement, where the first rep stated that my membership information would be sent with a catalogue. I then again stated that I was not informed that my ALL purchases would be made through a catalogue, I was never told in full detail what that catalogue entailed or what it meant. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused. She told me to shut up and let her speak. I then requested that the phone conversation be recorded so that it shows on record that I was extremely upset with this service and its fraud and false advertisement. She then stated that I cannot tell her how to do her job and that she would not record our conversation. She also played the recorded authorization statement over and over again in a taunting manner. She told me I was wrong, I’m getting what I deserved and she hung up on me.
I would like a full refund of my $149.00 charged to my SunTrust Banking Account. I am also not willing to pay any early termination fees. I state and stand by the fact it was never stated, or established I was signing up for a catalogue account only. Stating that I will receive a catalogue with my membership information and actually telling me that I can only make purchases from that catalogue are not one in the same. I refuse to pay for a service when I was misguided in signing up for it. I think it was very sad, for this company to mislead individuals when they are trying to get their credit back on track, its malicious and unethical |

| "first national scam" |
| i received a phone call today from this scam group. my husband and i have unfortunatley been scammed before. i immediatley looked them up and found horrible stories! for those who dont know....once youve been scammed once, your info gets sold all around the world to other scam groups. if you received a card or call from these people, be very careful! they are not the only group that has your personal info! i did call them back after researching them. i aked for a physical address for the ompany and the woman couldnt provide one. she just got angry and started asking me why i needed it. i told her so i could report her scam. she then decided to yell and curse....any legitimate business will give you a physical address when you ask for it. if they can not provide one, that should be the first sign of a scam. i hope this little bit of info will help others. please be careful and never give out your personal info, espeacially your ssn. |

I received this card in the mail today and it said that i applied for it. I knew that I didn't so I went online to find out about it and found out that this card is a scam. this card is linked to paypal.so don't use your debit card when purchasing items through paypal. I checked my bank account to see if any unauthorized charges had been posted.Luckily there were none so then I called my bank. I will be
issued a new debit card. paypal only has your debit card number not your account number so you don't have to change that. I was releived. |

| "THIS IS A SCAM!!!!" |
| I recieveed this card in the mail and decided to call to activate it, It sounded great that should have been my FIRST red flag...I called the activation line and waited on hold for close to 30 min...When the Rep got online she asked if she was on speaker, (I responded yes you are) she said take me off else I am hanging up on you. I asked to speak with her supervisor.. she Hung up... This is a scam and hopefully no one will fall for it like I almost did.. ITS A SCAM Please dont give them your Bank Account Info!!!!!Thank You to all of you that posted on this site.. It will HELP people not to give there Bank Info and not to be taken advantgage of.... |

| I called the activation number, but the only number I press was the card number. The line disconnected. So luckily I didn't give them my SSN and bank information. Will they still take money out of my checking account even though I didn't give them my bank info? |
