| "tricks to watch for" |
| They lie in wait for you to not pay in the allotted time (say you agreed to a 12-month payment plan). If you are foolhardy enough to go back and make a SECOND purchase on the same card in the 12 months, even 6 months into the payment period, you must pay off the entire amount including the amount you added later, but by the original date, or they sock you with the most outrageous interest you ever saw!I thought it was like a revolving payment thing for each big purchase---wrong! It is a "loan" for XX$$ for XX months, and they love for you to not pay it off by the specified time, because then ALL the accrued interest you were AVOIDING---at a usurious rate---is piled onto your balance all at once. They got me once, but the next time I used them (with trepidation) (granite countertops for my kitchen)I made SURE that I paid it off a month early so they couldn't eat me alive again. Haha, I won that time, GE Credit!I got 11 months with no interest! Haha, revenge is sweet! |

| "GE Care Credits Stinks" |
| I will NEVER use this service again. The customer service does not exist in the sense that the reps are unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. |

| "Lowe's Card by GE Money Bank ripoff" |
Lowe's keeps pushing the date the payment is due by several days. Never once has the date moved towards the end of the month.
They tell me the date the statement goes out is the 27th of the month. In the time I've had this card the due date has moved from the 27th to now the 16th. They've managed to catch me a couple times now with late fees, by jumping the date 3 or 4 days at a whack. |

| "Inflated interest rate " |
| I borrowed $3500 on a $5000 line. I have automatic bill pay and my payments were $33. I was paying $50 and they inflated it to $90 despite my good credit score. They raised my interest rate over 13%. Usury. I called them and because of the vast number of calls waiting, I waited almost 10 minutes. I have heard of the shady interest nudging practices by credit companies and now I have experienced it, firsthand. I will not deal with this company again and will be paying off and closing the account next month. I am quite disheartened by GE''''''''s practice. |

| "DONT EVER GET MIXED UP WITH THESE CROOKS!" |
| I had automatic payment, was two days late, because I didn't realize they have a 25 instead of typical 30 billing cycle- called to have late fee excused, which they said they would, later find out that they never forgave that payment, have charge me many late fees and increased my 9.9 interest to 28%, no one in customer service cares. |

| "Poor customer service. " |
| high interest rates for cardholders with a 777 credit score. Unwilling to reduce interest rate. Rude customer service agents with litte care or concern about customers imput in regards to over charging of interest rates. I'm paying off what little balance I have and cutting up the card. Worst credit card I have ever had. |

| "A real cash back program, finally!" |
(I have posted this before; please NOTE this card is not issued by FirstUSA/BankOne/Chase; rather it is issued by GE Money Bank, fsb)
As the first GE Money branded card in the Americas it signifies General Electric's re-entry into the direct-to-consumer card marketplace.
This card is great! With up to 5% cash back on essential purchases and 2% on non-essential purchases. There are no requirements to call and 'request' a rebate check -- you receive a check as part of your monthly statement each time you reach $10.00 USD. Fantastic.
0% Balance transfers, MasterCard Platinum benefits, no annual fee, $0 fraud liability
All these features from a company with 70 years of experience in financial services, 50 million credit card customers in the U.S., and the integrity of GE.
