"Cash back Visa"
A lot of cash back cards seem promising until you read the fine print. Discover card, for example, advertisers "up to 1% csah back", but you don't really start earning that 1% until you've spent $3000. For the first $1500, you're earning a measly 0.25%

The Golden1 Cash Back Visa pays 1% from your first dollar. Some years they have paid 2% cash back - since it comes from a credit union, they share their profits with their members, so in good years you'll get more than 1%.
