| "1 year no interest a total sham" |
Helzberg offered me a Year without interested on 4/20/2010 (I have the receipt still and sent them a copy)I paid the last of my bill on 4/17/2011, and they still charged me for the year's interest. I disputed it with them, they told me it would take 2 billing cycles, meanwhile they charged me a late fee, because I apparently need to pay them on top of them owing me.
Paid them off, got random interest charges even though I had a 0 account. Finally just cancelled the card in mid dispute...I finally got a response out of someone to say that the interest period ended on 4/1/2010.
Wasted $300 because budgeting for 12 months no interest, really means 11, or whatever else they want it to mean. |

| "Run away from this company" |
| Dealing with this company has been a nightmare.They have lied to me over and over again and have made me pay fraudulent charges which last time i checked is illegal.customer service is a joke.they lied to me about their policy and have caused nothing but financial ruin for me and my family all because i had the misfortune of using them to buy a ring. |

| If I could give this company a fricking 0 I would...avoid them at all costs, terrible customer service, I wouldn''t even reccommend this card company to an enemy |

| Don''t make the same mistake I did . Interest free for a few months sounds great but wait till you have a question on your account. Nightmare |

| "Never Again" |
| Citi Card is the worst card I have ever come in contact with. I opened this card back in 2003 and I made one purchase with it for about 400 dollars. I was making only minimum payments but they were all on time. Then all of a sudden the payments went from being 18 dollars to 100 dollars well at the time I could not afford that. I called them to discuss this they told me that was my problem, they hung up on me a few times. Then I stopped paying all togeather, well so now they were charging me late fees. The card had a 1000 dollar limit they lowered it to 500 so now I was being charged over the limit fees. They sent me letters offering to work it out so I called they said if you send 50 dollars we will lower minimum payments so I did and they didnt called back and got hung up on again. Finally got someone decent they FINALLY AFTER 2 YEARS FIXED IT. Just now getting it paid off. 400 dollar purchase cost me over 800 Citi bank is noting but a bloodsucking uncaring company. Thanks for nothing citibank I hope you enjoyed stealing my money! |
