"Outrageous penalties, interest and lack of customer services"
Like many of the reviews, I was one day late and hit with a $20 late fee and $35 in interest. I called to say that I have been on time for three years and was later by one day. They said it is not their policy but the banks. I asked to speak with a manager, they said they would take a message and the manager would call me back. I called two days later and they said the manager can't do anything anyways and I need to send a letter to their credit department. I did this and told them to call my cell phone. They called my home number and left a message saying they got my request and said to call a 1-800 number if I had any more questions. I tried calling but got the run around again. I plan to call every day until I get all the way to the CEO. Wish me luck. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CUT THIS CARD UP. I have andjust got an offer in the mail from Bank of America which I now plan to sign up for now. AVOID JUNIPER AT ALL COSTS.

"Worst. Card. Ever."
I got this card a few years ago on a no interest deal. It has been a complete nightmare ever since. Every month I make a payment in full and my payment is held for 7-10 business days. And every month it's some new reason. I paid more than my limit, my payment history isn't consistent (even though I pay in full each time). Today was the breaking point in paying my bill in full which was less than $2 over the limit due to interest. Both the rep. and supervisor insisted that if I had paid $5 less, I would have access to my credit. This is after other calls in which you are just left on hold or informed there is no supervisor to speak to or everyone is in an indefinite meeting. The absolute worst was one month I was able to get a supervisor to conference call to my bank and confirm funds had cleared. The next month when I tried to do that I was met with complete hostility and told the bank would never do that. When I confronted them about it being done last month and to review their notes on my account, I was called a blatant liar and criminal for attempting to defraud them.

"This company sucks"
I got this card over 2yrs ago because they offered a low interest 7%.I paid my payment 1day late and as I paid over the phone I asked if they would waive the late fee this 1 time. I understood I was late and it was my fault but they saw that I had never been late and always paid more than the min due. I asked for a manager and she said there was nothing she could do. I accepted that cause I did pay late but when I received my statement the interest went up to 30%. I called and of course they were rude and said there was nothing they could do and that's what it was. When times got hard I called them for assistance w/ lowering my interest and monthly payment until I got on my feet and they did help me. They told me to send them $35.00 and they would start a payment plan and I did that and called back and was told the money order did not arrive on time. WTF. I sent it when I was told. Now that I am unable to pay they have collectors calling and harrassing me and to top it off they still not trying to help me or set up a plan.

"payoffs"
Make sure that if you make a final payment, get a confirmation # and ask very specific questions about any late fees or fees from after this payment is processed and be very specific as to when the payment will process. Get names and speak to a manager, get their name and ask the same specific questions and be very careful. You have to ask the right questions to get the right answers. keep this info handy and check up on it the next day.

"Deceptive minimum payament"
Be extremely careful when reaching your credit limit. This card entices over limit fees and prompts default by billing minimum payments in amounts not sufficient to stay under limit when finance charges are added back..15% to 30% over night. Customer service is worthless. File formal complaints if this happens to you.
 
Most attractive feature: low introductory rate
Least attractive feature: Very deceptive card for rates and terms and minimum payments.

"Horrible Credit Card"
Never get this credit card. They have hidden costs, extremely high interest rates, they try to hit you with constant late fees 3x times what the balance might be. Customer service is a negative 10.
 
Most attractive feature: No good features or services period.
Least attractive feature: Terrible customer service, fraudulant late fees, exhorbant interest rates.

"They don't know what they're doing"
I initially got an account with this company because of a 0% interest offer. The rate was in effect for 12 of eighteen months, I don't remember.
After about eight months the company contacted me by mail and informed me the card had been canceled. It had never been used, I was saving it for something I thought the zero would benefit me. Two months later they contacted me by mail with terms and regulations going into effect as a result of the new legislation. I called them and (of course got India) and told them I am no longer their customer as a result of their action.

What a screwed up company. They don't know what they're doing.

"Use a More Reputable Bank and Things Go More Smothely"
I was late one day, they charged me $35 (ok my fault no problem, but BOA would have forgiven it). So I set up automatic payment through their site so that I would avoid additional charges. I had them on the phone while I entered the routing info and checking account number and was told I was all set. Turns out I was missing two 0s before the account number, and I realized this the day after payment was due and spoke to them that day. They charged me $90 for that mistake. I argued that they told me I was "all set" when I entered the info on line, and they said it was still my fault. I am paying them off as fast as I can and will never use Juniper or Barclay again. The customer service system is ridiculous. They act like they understand what you are talking about, but they never really answer your questions. In fact, my latest call told me if I want to hold on for a survey press 1. I pressed 1, and and waited for about 5 minutes with no response before I gave up.
 
Most attractive feature: None!
Least attractive feature: These people are opportunistic thieves.

"RUN RUN RUN"
Got an offer for 14% APR>never got my first statement, so i called and voice response system stated that the payment was due on that day, so i paid it over the phone, it was applied late and left me a late payment fee of $39>i then get a letter in the mail about 1 week ago stating that because i went over my limit by $24 dollars they were raising my APR to 27%, I could not speak to a supervisor they were busy due to high call volume (probably due to the shifty things they pull)and they will schedule an appointment to have someone call me back, i told her that if she could not schedule a call after 5pm to forget it, i work cause I have bills to pay, never got a call back, needless to say i balance tranferred to CAPITOL ONE< never had issue with them!
 
Most attractive feature: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS CARD
Least attractive feature: WORST FEATURE IS THAT THEY STILL EXIST
