| "Keybank Card works for me!" |
I have had this card for 2 years now. My rates are 16.5%, 12.9% and 8.9%. I always pay more than the minimum even for the 8.9% every month. I'm not rich, or even well to do. I'm an average "JOE", working and doing overtime and married. I enjoy this card over the others which are canceled now. It's a basic credit card and if all you really need is temporary or emergency cash, this is the card. If you can afford to pay 9.9%, then get this card and lower your balance even faster!!
My only problem with it is not being able to whip it out fast enough on an emergency or a great sale!! Have you seen a lower rate 8.9%, let me know, I'll apply!!! |

| "GOOD-BAD-UGLY" |
| WHEN I FIRST RECIEVED THE CARD IT WAS UNDER THE KEY BANK FINANCIAL CONTROL. ANY PROBLEMS YOU DEALT WITH THE BANK THRU THE BRANCH OFFICES. WELL, AT SOME POINT, KEY BANK SOLD ALL OF THE CREDIT DIVISION TO THE ASSOCIATES. THE BAD STARTED WHEN THEY ISSUED ME A NEW CARD AND TOLD ME THAT MY OLD CARD WAS INVALID. IT TOOK 2 WEEKS OF CALLING TO TRY TO GET THE NEW CARD TO WORK (FOUND OUT IT DIDN'T WORK WHEN I WAS OUT OF TOWN AND THE CARD WAS REGECTED DUE TO IT NOT BEING A VALID CARD). THE UGLY CAME ABOUT WHEN I PAID OFF MY CARD. THE NEXT STATEMENT I GOT INDICATED THAT I OWED A PENALTY FEE FOR CANCELLING. AFTER A GREAT DEAL OF PHONING ON MY PART, THE REALIZED THAT I WAS A CARD HOLDER FOR MANY YEARS AND NOT A NEW CUSTOMER AS THEY HAD INDICATED IN THEIR ACCOUNTS (THEY FORGOT TO GRANDFATHER ME FROM MY KEY ACCOUNT THEY BOUGHT). THEY DID CREDIT ME AND THE VERY NEXT STATEMENT I CANCELLED THE CARD. THE ASSOCIATES DO MESS THINGS UP MORE THAN MOST CREDIT CARD COMPANIES. TRED LIGHTLY WHEN SIGNING UP WITH THEM.... |
