"Designed to fleece consumer via late fees/charges"
On reciveing a full payment a day late this card charged a late fee of 40$ and a hefty interets on that to run up the "late charges" to 160 $ even thought the very first month complete payment had been recieved. They Would not even settle for the original late charge. I think the premise of their business is to make money via unfairly taking advantage of the consumer.
Would keep receiving harassing calls everyday.

"I can't pay my card"
I have searched everywhere on the net to pay my card as the payment is due tomorrow. Since this is the weekend no LNT people are able to help me and I can't pay online. The payment process is the worst I have ever dealt with!

"Account Policies"
I applied for and rec'd this card after being solicited at the cash register of a Linens and Things Store. I charged $95.72 on the card at the time of check out. I tried to pay the bill on-line CAN'T DO THAT. I tried to pay the bill at the store CAN'T DO THAT. I tried to contact someone via the telephone to no avail.
I mailed my payment; however, it was not received by the due date, but it was received before the statment closing date. The next bill I received was for a $25.00 Late Charge Fee. When I contacted MCCBG, Monogram Credit Card Bank of Georgia, they offered to split the late fee with me. I made several attempts to pay my bill (before the actual due date, and I did pay it in full), As a matter of principle I refuse to pay the late fee and I think MCCBG uses unethical business practices in the way they charge their late fees. I feel like new customers are set up to FAIL, not having any way to pay their bill except by mail! Most companies who want your repeat business would give a person at least one chance.
I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.
I also plan on canceling every card I have with this bank which is at least three more that I know of Home Depot, Lowe's, and JC Penneys- not before I contact them and explain why though.
As long as these companies continue to use this banks services then MCCBG will continue to exploit people using their Credit ratings as leverage .
