"Horrible customer service"
To begin with, the lending bank actually would insist on personal visits to raise the credit. I had an account with the bank I went through since I was 13, I'm now 35. It resides in Ill, and I in WI. Yet they would insist that I visit to request an increase. There is no website to speak of so the only contact is via phone or mail. After finally getting limit increases only because of family contacts they held my parents accounts also accountable unknown to either of us, because they had co-signed for me at 18. This wasn't an issue until a few years ago when I was strapped financially through a divorce. They would make NO payment arrangements. I had to bear the brunt of our credit card debt to conclude the divorce. Mastercard, Fleet and several others were willing to work with me on a reasonable repayment plan. McHenry County would not and froze my parents assets until the balance was paid. I have since paid the debt, and closed all my accounts there. If there is anyone considering using then in the area, I would go elsewhere.
