I called and asked for a lower interest rate to help reduce my debt and the costumer service rep was happy to help me. It is now around 9%. I can also transfer as many high interest balances from other accounts onto this one with no transfer fee and I get a low rate of about 5% for six months on the balances transfered. However, it doesn't give me any free trips around the world, but it does help reduce my credit debt. The 5% is a better rate than any bank has offered me for a debt consolidation loan.

I would not recommend this card at all. The customer service is lousy, and the company's policies are awful. When I had a card with them, they cancelled it. Not because I was delinquent in payments, not because I requested it. They simply cancelled it because I asked to have my husband added, and when they went to process the request, customer service 'goofed' and cancelled the account. This was right before Christmas, and we were left without a credit card for purchases. When I tried to resolve the issue, customer service was lousy and provided no help in rectifying the situation. Shop around before applying for this one.

The customer service can not be beat at all! I had someone use my card and it was cancelled within 30 secinds within notifying the bank and a new one was in my hands within 2 days. They investigated and found out who used the card. In the mean time, the amount in question was reimbused to me. They were very fast about it! APR is great too. I do not like the extra charges they sick me with but many card do that. Very generous with their credit limits.....My credit is not great but they gave me a chance. I recommend NCB very highly!

Just got this card today..You can apply online but you dont get a decision then you have to wait..There is no annual fee and a intro A.P.R of 3.9% FOR 6 months then goes to 13.49% vARIABLE..When i got card they had it at 14.49% but customer service changed it to the 13.49% and was very pleasent..It has all the benefits of a gold card..Citibank and Chase and all them denied me but they approved me so maybe easy to get?
