I have had a MBNA Master Card since 1984 and have used it on 3 continents. I appreciate the personal service and the way I can make payments by phone without a fee.
 
Most attractive feature: Year end summary of use.
Least attractive feature: Waiting time on phone calls.

"Service? that's a laugh"
Search the bill. There is NO telephone number for customer service. To get one, I had to pretend to be applying for a new card. I complied with all written complaints about a billing for fuel in a state 2,000 miles away from where I live. I was told I must pay it. I was told that I was lying and had really been in Montana on the day I was in class teaching 2,000 miles away. Now, two months later, I have ANOTHER bogus billing from a telephone booth i Washington state. I am cancelling this card because I have no choice to prevent them from further theft.
