| The move to PUNISH people who regularly spend over $10,000aus/month by refusing frequent flyer points over this limit is so utterly stupid it is unfathomable.As a result of this recent move you are about to lose this bigspender to AMEX goldcard-GOODBYE |

| "Getting the card can be a mission" |
I ordered the card in September 2003. By December 2003 it still had not been processed. Finally it was processed ( after phoning 3 times in one week to find out what was going on ) . Finally the card was finished processing on the 18th December. As I was going to be away over Xmas - and they took so long to process the card - I asked them to Courier it. Finally it arrived 2 weeks later. And now I have been slammed with the " Urgent card request" payment.
What happented to customer services!!.

| "ANZgold visa" |
| warning all australian travellers-within 2 days of using this card in Mexico and only at a bank my entire bank accounts were wiped out through poor security at the australian bank-my card was not lost and was secure at all times. The bank,after many promises ,is just investigating after intervention by the ombudsman. They left me stranded in South America and have not once contacted me-so think twice before using ANZ cards overseas. |

| Well, I recieved this card, and found it quite beneficial. Although it isn't my favourite card, it certainly does have its advantages. |

| "The customer service was great but" |
| I found that the service I got with the card was great until such time that I wanted to cancel the card and at that point things started to go downhill to the point that I had to make my final payment twice or my account was going to be sent to a debt collectors and after months of letters and phone conversations it still came down to the fact that I ended up $280 out of pocket. Apart from this I did use the card for a few years with no problems at all and it is for this reason that I would reccommend them to other people. I did learn that I should keep all reciepts though. |

| "Average Card services in Australia" |
Most customer who praised this card to be the best in Australia Card Industry only because they have not been experience with the other bank, particular Australia still has not been well exposed to the Card Services Industries around the world.
Their Reward Program - one of the program been nonimated to be best in Ausrtalia - in fact it's not, as their point system were the worst in crediting back to customer account comparing with Westpac, National or Commnwealth Bank who also has the similar reward program, it takes at least 2 months after your statement date and sometime could even be 100 days behind the others.
Credit Limit - They will only agreed to raise the customer limit once a year regardless whether you are their value customer or not while Westpac, every 6 months if you proven to be a good one.
ANZ Bank should consider to launch their Platinum Cards in Australia to upgrade their customer base as what they have done in Hong Kong for their PT100 Platinum Visa and in Indoneisa - their Platinum Mastercard otherwise they will keep on loosing their value customer if other bank ahead of them in launching new services particular they charge a very high interest rate of 17.95% in Australia comparing with the lowest of 9.99% from BankWest. |
