I'm not currently a member but I give this card highest marks from what I've heard, as well as the interesting story behind this card. This card is kind of like Discover and AMEX in that, it's not a Visa or Mastercard, it's it's own brand, it's JCB. This is onea those cards that, you don't really need, but for those with an ego like myself, it's so hard to get, you want it. It's a Japanese card firm and primarily you have to live in Japan to get it, but if you live in one of 5 states, Hawaii, California, Illinois, New York, or New Jersey, you can get a JCB Standard card (basically like a silver level card) or a JCB gold card. Even if you do live a qualifying state, you can't get other cards, like the JCB Grande Card or the JCB The Class card (basically the equivillent of the AMEX Centurion card), you have to live in Japan for those. It's a mysterious card and the acceptance of it is limited, but if you can qualify, go to www.JCBUSA.com and check it out, it's rare enough that you'll want it. Anyone know how I could get one, being that I DON'T live in a qualifying state? I'm open to unique suggestions or loopholes!!
