Do not use it, close this WFNNB/Comenity cc

I bought bras and I was supposed to get double points but they never gave me. Called customer service, they asked me to call VS. Called VS and they asked me to call WFNNB/Comenity. This double points bonus for VIP card holders is a LIE. They asked me to try their ID theft protector and said that I will be given a $20 gift card. I enrolled but when the so called insurance scam came, the $20 gift card was not issued to me. So I cancelled the ID protector. WFNNB has the worst customer service who do not know what is going on. Don't buy their ID protector, it is a scam. They just want to make money and dangle a $20 gift card which never came. Called CS and they said it would take 3 months to arrive. Do not fall into their bait and switch tactics. I will cancel my card soon.

Be Smart in Using It

Pay off full balance IN STORE in cash. One HUGE benefit of this is that you get a RECEIPT for your payment. I hang onto my receipt, so that I have proof of payment, if required. I've never paid online, but it sounds like it's a nightmare. I only use my card if the VS card is required for cardholder-only discounts. In doing so, I miss out on my Angels points, but I use my other credit card, which also offer rewards. Also, I don't really buy much at VS, and I only shop during the semi-annual sale. I used to work at VS over 12 years ago, and my manager said that the products at regular price had a 400% mark-up on them. Ridiculous.

Card activation/identity protector scheme

I was not charged "just 99 cents" and didn't receive a $20 gift card as promised. Instead I was charged $14.99 twice and no gift card because I was supposed to go online to "register my card" which I did not even know how to because I never received anything to let me know how. When I called the CC Identity Protector customer service they would only remove one of the $14.99 charges. I explained that to the vsangelcard customor service who said that the CC Identity Protector company had to remove it. They said they could offer me store coupons. It may work for them to offer coupons to some people to smooth it over but for me I can do without a company who tricks people into agreeing to try something in order to make their money.

I sent in a payment and it wasn't received apparently because when o checked my statement I had a $30 late fee :( but I called in and they were more than willing to arrange a payment online and waive my late fee :) :) I've been a long time customer and will continue to be one. I've done plenty of online shopping and vs has been the ONLY website to deliver customer satisfaction, so above recommending the card I recommend vs direct.

Good Starter Card

I like this card. Status upgrade at $250, you get a new sleek, black card with VIP on it (totally plays on people's need to feel important). Plus, a $10 gift certificate at every $250. Also, providing you get emails, you get early access to the big semi-annual sales, and the website often offers free shipping to cardholders only, or secret reward cards--these are gift certificates for 10,50,100, or 500 dollars off your order. The APR is high, but if you don't charge more than you can pay in full each month you'll be ok. Used wisely and sparingly, this is a good card for building young credit and a decent work wardrobe.

Rewards, and Credit Increase

Well I've had this card for about 9 months, mind you I was told after making payments on time I should be able to get a credit increase well today marked the 9 months and I was denied. I'm very upset about this as I was looking forward to getting an additional $200 to go Christmas shopping and now that's not going to be possible. The rewards are a joke. I was only given a coupon book the first time I joined and after that haven’t really received much. I mean I get a $10 off a bra but it’s always around the time I don't need one and I got those regardless of having a VS card or not. I'm just not too happy with them, I don't see where it has improved my credit score as I recently applied for an express card which is sponsored by the same bank and was denied even though I clearly make monthly payments on time and way before it’s due. All in all, I will not EVER ask for increase again, guess I'll just wait for them to surprise me. Oh and I'm a VP member with the black card.

No rewards, no point to having an account.

I got this card because I shopped at VS a lot, thought I could benefit from the points system, and was told I would get a lot of coupons. After you get your initial coupon book, you never get coupons again. I've been a card holder for around 5 years and I almost never get free panty offers, while many people without accounts get them (I know this because I worked at VS for almost 2 years). I have a VIP account, but yet never get the birthday coupons I'm supposed to get. I do get the coupons for getting 250 points, but saving $10 for every $250 you spend isn't a deal. I have a New York & Company card, and they constantly email me coupons and send them to me through regular mail, and even send half off coupons a few times a year (quarterly, I think?). There are just no benefits to this card after your initial coupon book you get for opening an account. I only keep it open because it is my oldest account and is in good standing and therefore helps out my credit rating a bit.

I am very happy with the card, I only have 2 other cards I recently opened (im 18) and I was instantly approved for this one, my other card at Macys is a bunch of bs they give you all sorts of coupons but they do not work towards anything in the store. So when I got my little coupon book I did not expect the 10$ off a bra coupon to work with anything, BUT it did. I recieved my card right away in the mail after being approved, activated it and went shopping right away no problems at all, they gave me a credit limit which macys did not.

Satan's Card

I'll be honest and recognize that I did forget to make a payment, so I got hit with a late fee. They never called me to let me know I was late nor sent an email. I didn't get one until already two months late next I recieve hard copy the next day which was vague stating the original purchase. I pay it off, two weeks later payment has not been deducted from my checking account though they sent me an email thanking me for my payment right after I submitted my payment. Now I see that it says NO FAULT RETURNED PAYMENT and fees tacked on! What kind of scam is this!?! I'd also like to mention that I have an NYandC card aren't they through the same lender? They accepted my money and there was enough in my account.

Customer Service - Rude or confused. Only 2 options.

I want to start by saying that I pay my bills in full every month and have an excellent credit score. I was sleeping before work and received a hostile phone call from a creditor telling me I was 30 days late and needed to make an immediate payment for a $10 fee. I told her I would look into it because there was no way that was possible. She continued to ask me personal questions which I declined to answer. I went to look up my account and noticed that the bill she mentioned wasn't even posted online. I had never even had a statement sent to me period for the 6 months I had the account. I called customer service and they tried to straighten it out for me. Actually, they made me even more confused and said I had previously called a week prior to request a late fee credit. Huh... I didn't even know I had late fees. The creditor was the first time I heard about it. I paid the balance I was told and checked the account a few days later. I now had a $30 credit from the late fees that posted 10 days after the date it said I requested it. My statement was finally emailed 3 days later showing the late fee. Thoroughly confused and aggravated that this hit my perfect credit. I cancelled right away. Had the card for under 6 months. Made 2 purchases. Terrible! I'd rather take my business somewhere else.

I Love My VS Credit Card!

I love the rewards, I love the friendly customer service hotline, and I love shopping at Victoria's Secret! I use my VS credit card very responsibly, just like any other credit cards out there in the world. I always check my account once a day just to make sure everything looks right and I always pay it off one week early because you never know what will happen. Yes, the interests are very high but if you pay everything off on time (or earlier), you won't have to deal with any interest at all. I'm a poor and busy college student and if I can handle this credit card, there's no reason why anyone can't.

I am a frequent VS shopper, so for me, this card comes in handy. Cardholders receive special offers before everyone else, get $10 for your birthday, and beat of all if you have any problems with your order (online) the service reps are super friendly and aim to please! Trust me, I had an order lost in the mail, and they shipped another order to me AT NO COST! As long as you pay on time, and even better, you can pay online, it is super easy, super quick! Highly recommend to those that pay it off at once, interest can be high (I always pay it off). Love VS and will continue to be a frequent shopper and I will be enjoying their special offers and free gift cards!!

YOU WILL REGRET GETTING IT

So the first flaw is the customer service! It's literally UNREACHABLE. Second, you have to pay WAY ahead of time because if you actually pay on the due date (like all normal people) it will be possessed late and your credit score will be affected. Third, IT IS EXTREMELY EASY FOR ANYONE TO COMMIT FRAUD ON THIS CREDIT CARD. PLUS SINCE IT IS THE HARDEST THING TO REACH PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT'S HARD TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. PLEASE TO NOT GET THIS CARD!!!!!

Cancelling today , not worth saving 10 bucks

So recently I got a phone call from the company stating that i was a month behind on my credit card. There was no way because I had just made a payment in the middle of febuary and I paid the card off completely. Also I had never gotten a statement after that and this is the beginning of march somewhere around the 8th. I apologized and said I would make the payment she asked if I wanted to make it over the phone for a 10 dollar fee and I said no thankyou I will pay online. A few days later I kept getting phone calls. So when i wasnt at work I answered and she said that my credit card payment was now 2 months behind.I told her that I had made a payment a couple days ago maybe it just hasnt posted yet and then again she starts pressuring me to pay over the phone. I say no and then went online to make sure that my payment went through. I noticed I had accidently put to pay in april not in march. I couldnt figure out how to change it online so i called the customer service center. They were so rude I had to hang up the phone. I was never trying to get out of paying my credit card I just wanted to pay it. There was no need for the rudeness just trying to pay my credit card. Also she kept asking me personal questions like the address to my job and how much do I get paid. I dont care if i get a 10 dollar coupon I'm done with this company.

I havent received my statement and all I wanted to know was my balance and why I havent received my statement so I could pay my bill and they couldnt give me that information without me giving them my ss# never mind I gave them my phone # and my address. I have never rolled over my cardand Im a good customer. So much for customer service(NOT!)

So, after reading most reviews what I have gotten from it is "I made a mistake, and they were mean!". I work in the customer service industry, and I know for a fact people make mistakes and try to blame the company so they don't feel the consequences. Such as when you get a overdrawn fee from your bank, who doesn't try to get them to reverse it? Victoria's secret customer service may not be the nicest, but hey when you have people lying to try to get you to reverse fees that they SHOULD have to pay, you would be annoyed as well! And about not getting your statement..you made the purchase. It is not their fault you forgot to pay your own debt. I check my balance EVERYDAY online with VS and with my credit card and debit card company. How else do you protect yourself? Be responsible, you need to pay on time just like everyone else. YOUR NOT SPECIAL. You need to grow up and not try to get out of paying fees you deserve to get. Be proactive, know how much you owe and realize when it doesn't come out of your bank account...

Late fee on defective bra.

My sister who shops VC for all her bra's is very sad about it but will never shop there again. She recieved a defective bra that was replace. 2 months later she got a bill for $5 dollar and $20 dollars late fees. This is the first she heard of it. First of all why they were charging $5 to return the bra and why she did not get a bill for 2 months. She called and was told that it was taken care of. well a month later she got another bill for $35. when she called she was told very rudely to pay her bill if she did not want a late fee. She tried to explain but they would not listen. The rep said "So you expect to get merchandise and not pay for it?". She told him that she did not get merchandise she returned it and wanted to talk to supervisor. That person also told her very rudely to pay her bill if she did not want late fees. Saddly this was the 2nd time it had happen to her. The first time was for a bill that she did not recieve till it was a month old, and she just paid it.

What to pay for the purchace

a week and a half ago I received a bill for 10 dollars For tights I had bought in July. This was the first bill I had received and so far the only one. In the last few days I have been getting calls from different phone numbers regarding a delinquent payment. I told the creditor I was very sorry for the confusion I was not aware of the payment till the previous week. I told them I would be happy to pay for my purchase. Then they informed me that I owed another $70 worth of late fees. I told them i would pay for my purchase but not the late fees because they had failed to inform me of any payments that were due before the previous week. they have now begun harassing phone calls for the payment. I am not sure what to do at this point I refuse to pay for late fees that I have when they did not inform me at all on the payment. The reason why i did not think to pay for the payment in July was because I was told I had a credit of $40 already. I feel like what they are doing is illegal in a variety of different ways, can any one help?

VS is in the busienss of selling whihc includes selling you a credit card. Do I agree with credit cards no, infact I hated the pressure sales but this jobwas a hobby for me, I had another fulltime job. the fact that their interest is so high and their customer service is not efficient. Bottom line if you are getting this card to simply get rewards hen fcus on getting the rewards but only purchase what you know you can truly afford. Otherwise , do nto get the card, as a long time customer of VS I no longer maintina the credit card, i pay cash for everything and I still get rewards without having to drop a dime, so sign up for emails and get your merchandise and stay focused . Consumers are in the business for the companies to work hard for us to spend our money act like it, they are not in control of our money, remember this.

I love Victorias Secret. I have 2 daughters, ages 24 and 18, and purchase alot , especially at holiday time. There is always something worth ordering at any time. When they were younger I didnt always feel things were approriate, and also didnt want them to feel "entitled". As they got older and I looked at the catologues, I found more and more things to purchase. The sales are great, due to the fact they carry so much. Before long, I started shopping for myself at 50 yrs old. I think people like myself looked at it as a store just selling sexy lingerie. I also purchase lotions, and tee shirts, for gifts with younger girls in my family. Two beautiful nightgowns were purchased as bridal shower gifts. I love the rewards programs, and free panties that I pick up and save as "stocking stuffers". As far as using the card, its like any other, if your late , yes there is a fee. They all charge late fees. The trick is to know what you can afford. If you have a problem over purchasing its probably because you have "no self-control". The things are lovely. You would be amazed how many items you can wait on and get them on sale! Purchasing 200.00 worth of items at Xmas many times can get you 75.00 off. For me and my girls its a great store! Its all about self control, a personal issue. Happy shopping!

Decent Store Credit Card

I only signed up for the VS card for the coupons and perks; I don't NEED credit to buy luxury items and let's face it, that's all this store sells and no one who NEEDS credit to get by should be shopping for anything but the bare necessities. The store was offering a great incentive for signing up that day, and most of my friends have the card with few complaints so I went for it. Because I'd already heard about not receiving bills in the mail, I specificially asked if I'd be receiving paper bills and the clerk told me "If you give your email address, you are signed up for e-billing.". So I declined to give that, which she agreed is the smart thing until you know your monthly due date, and I've yet to have a problem receiving my bill. As to payment processing, be sure to send in your check at least 10 days prior to the due date. Seems an excessive amount of time for processing, but I've had that happen with utilities and other creditors too. When paying online, double and triple-check that you've filled in all the info. It shows up on my online bank info within a day, so if yours doesn't then call customer service. It can be a pain but the perks are worth it to me. My friends who have the VS card shop in-store regularly (I do not) and pay their bills in the store. That practice is very much encouraged by VS (and other stores too) as they know if you go in to pay your bill you're likely to do some shopping when you are in there. They ARE in business to sell stuff and make money, lol. It is a decent card to own if you pay off your bill not only on time, but ahead of time, and will really take advantage of the reward incentives. If you use it that way, are vigilant in checking your payment status and will call CS as soon as you detect a problem, it can and will affect your credit score POSITIVELY.

I don't think it's fair that people are rating this card so low because they are not being responsible with it. When reading these reviews to decide if the VS card is right for you...please note WHY the ranks are low. About 99% of these un-happy card holders are at fault for thier un-happiness, not VS. **ANY credit card will charge you late fees if you don't pay your bill on time. Does that mean they are a bad company? NO... it means that you need to know when your bills are due. **If you can't afford the interest then pay your bill off in full...if you can't afford that either, then you shouldn't be applying for credit cards and you shouldn't be spending what you don't have. This is not a new concept. To any responsible adult who is considering this card...this is a WONDERFUL card and the perks are awesome as long as you: A.) know how much you can and can't afford B.) pay your bill on time C.) Be NICE to the customer service...I love how people think that yelling and being rude to customer service reps will actually get them anywhere. The more "demanding" you get, the more un-willing customer service is to help you. I know this because I work in customer service (not for this company). I will always give refunds or do whatever the customer wants if they are nice, polite, and admit that the mistake was their's instead of blaming us for every little thing (like those of you who think it's VS's fault that you forgot to update your information). Bottom line- if you love VS and know that you will be able to pay your card off every month...you will LOVE this card. If you are prone to getting yourself in debt and don't want to pay the interest fees, or are forgetful about paying your bills...do not get this card and leave the free panties to the rest of us.

This Card will Cost You a Lot of Money!

I used an paid my card on time all the time. I switched banks. The online system is not very detailed about the account you are selecting and I did not notice I forgot to change the bank account. No notice was received via mail or email about the problem. Next Month go to pay bill find out account is suspended 6 months and all payments must now be made by mail or in store for 60 days. To pay by phone is a $10 fee. Good history is not taken into account. Closed 6 months for an error I was never notified about and rectified immediately. I cancelled the card. Customer Service said I could get a letter from my new bank stating that I now bank with them. I will not get my new bank to grovel so I can have a lingerie credit card! I wrote a very nasty letter to customer service - that felt much better. No More VS - No more VS credit card! EVER!

HORRIBLE CARD- STAY AWAY!

Although you get free coupons, they get you with other things- ridiculous late fee of $20 and other finance charges. They will not always email or mail out the statement to you, so sometimes you will not even know that you have an outstanding balance with them. You will not even get a notice of the late fees, because they want you to forget about it so the charge will keep going up. They have the rudess customer service reps which I ever encountered- probably all outsourced from another country because some dont even speak english. I just cancelled my card, and if I were you, I wouldnt get it in the first place!

Stolen cards!!!!

My wallet was stolen and I was told by the automated system that my card number would stay the SAME. When I called to follow up regarding getting a different account number, I was told that it was NOT possible. I asked what would stop the person from ordering something online. They said that the individual would have to know my billing address. When I said that my wallet contained that information, so it would be possible for the criminal to order online, I was told that there was NOTHING she could do. I had to cancel my account in order to avoid fraud. I did this knowing that it will hurt my credit, but I felt that I had no other option to ensure that my credit was protected.

It's A Credit Card

Ladies, as a former VS employee, I am here to tell you a few things. 1) If you are nice to the sales people, they can usually call for you the credit card issuer and help to waive the late fees that you receive on a bill 2) To other former employee who said that you have to spend 50 dollars to get your free panty, that is simply not true. I rang up people time and time again to get a free panty. 3) I apologize to any of the customers who felt like they were not being told that it was a credit card, there are sales girls out there who won't mention that. However, you are giving out your social security number without finding out why? You and the sales clerk are both in the wrong. Other times, sales clerks do mention it's a credit card, customers just choose not to listen. I've seen it happen time and time again. 4) To the people who said they signed up for paperless statements, that is only possible if you check a box on the statements you have been getting or if you viewed your bill online and then chose to get paperless statements, it didn't just magically happen to you. 5) Bring cash or check to pay off your card right away in the store, it's free and easy, and then you are dealing more with a rewards card and not a credit card. Also, you don't accrue any interest for purchases that are paid off within 30 days as it's 30 days same as cash. 6) People who want to change their address, you can check a box on your paper statement and when you send in your bill, it will get changed, not that hard. 7) To the people who have had bad experiences with credit who then feel the need to butt in while we are trying to explain the benefits of the card to another customer, please keep your comments to yourself (i.e. if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all). We get hours based on those credit cards and in this economy we are lucky to have a job and selling credit is an unfortunate part of that job. I wouldn't do it unless I had to. Believe me. If you pay your card on time, which you are supposed to do, then well, you won't have any problems and will continue to enjoy the benefits of being an angel!

Because of the economy I recently lost my job so paying off this card has gone from a hundred dollars a month to half that. I use to only owe three hundred dollars but because I am not paying the full amount anymore, each month they rack on a late fee of one hundred and twenty dollars. I owe close to seven hundred dollars just because of late fees. When I asked customer service to work with me because of my sudden lower income all they replied was "sorry, we dont have any plans to work with you" DO NOT get this card! use cash if you have to, it isn't worth the trouble

Customer service rep told me to "deal with it" when my card was frozen (after selecting merchandise for almost 2 hours) due to returns with receipts I made that day for Christmas presents I didn't give. The rep's supervisor said it was the 2nd customer in as many days that she had said that to and WAS STILL WORKING THERE! I was told that this 6-transaction-per-day limit was to discourage money laundering. My returns were for average $11 each; it would take a while! I cut up my card right there in the store. But then I realized I had attained VIP status and asked the card to be reinstated. (I wanted to use all my coupons.) Was told that because of legislation BEGINNING FEB 2010 (which has not come yet), they can't reopen my card; I have to start all over if I want the card. Horrible service! Stupid policies!

I bought a bra on October 2009 in the amount of $44.52, I have paid $76.93 for that merchandise and still appears I owe something else. I thought I paid for that merchandise in the store when I gave my ATM and entered my pin number, but not. I never got a statement not an official credit card. I hate this credit card already, because I know it will damage my credit report which was above 820 in score; just for some barriers in communication. I am returning the temporary card, and by the way: I never received the permanent one; so I am out of this before someone else's obtain it and buy on my name.

I have had too many problems with this card. Their online payment does not always go through and the customer service representatives are not helpful with that. I do all my accounting online and have not had any problems with any cards but this one. I was so upset that the account settings and reminders do not work and I do not always get notifications of my statement being ready. I stopped using the card.

Their online site for payments screw up. 3rd time this has happened to me. I submit payments and it states that it has been submitted, only to find out that it did not and I get slammed for being late. I have asked SEVERAL times for paper bills and have yet to receive 1. They also do not notify you of any late payments. I thought I paid off my credit card until I received a call from them. (I submitted the payment online and it didn't go through). I have tried calling their customer service only to hang up after going through about 30 diffferent prompts and never getting to a live person. They have screwed up my credit which was super before I got this dumb Victoria's Secret credit card. AWFUL! Do not get! Just pay in cash or use a different reliable credit card company. Not worth the hassle and credit problems.

I was persuaded to get the VS card when I was shoping at the store. I knew right away it was a bad decision, so I called customer service to pay off the balance and close the account. They charge $10 to pay by phone, but I wanted to get rid of it so I said ok. Two weeks later, the payment still wasn't debited from my account so I call to see whats up and after talking to 4 different people, they say that my checking account number was invalid and thats why the payment hasnt been debited from my account, but that they are still charging me the fee because its not their fault that I gave them the wrong account number. They also said that I can go to the store, pay by mail or I can try to pay again by phone but that I would have to pay the $10 fee again. I never got any call saying that my acount info was wrong, and even when I call now the automated service says that my payment was recieved. This people are scammers. They just want to make money off their customers. I know $10 is not a lot, but I payed for a service and I did not recieve it, and if I hadn't called and asked, they woulda probably hit me up with late fees and all that jazz. So my advice to anyone is DON'T GET THIS CARD.

World Financial Network Bank is a shoddy financial institution.I've received an invoice yesterday that I was late on my bill. I was told I've signed up for paperless billing, so for 2 months I never did receive any statement. This statement they mailed to me has 2 months late fee of $40 and financial charge of $1. I am a credit cards holder for years, I do not have many late bill. I DO NOT carry a balance on any credit cards. To my surprise, there are tons of others having the same issue with WFNB by simply entering the bank name in any common search engines. I do know that fees and financial charges is how financial institutions make money. This is not the correct way to do business. Yes, you make fees off your customers but guess what? They will not return. I know I won't! Do yourself a favor, stay away!

When you get your credit card stolen, they will send you another no problem...but with the same account number! How ridiculous is that? Anyone with your old card can make online purchases without any problems especially when there's no expiration date or CVV #'s like other credit card companies do. No security protection at all.

Do NOT get this card! When I first got the card, I wasn't asked if I wanted electronic bills, which were sent to email instead of paper bills that came into the mail. I never even received a electronic bill so my first payment, which was only on a balance of about $20, had a late fee of $25. I got them to give me paper bills finally after asking multiple times. Even then, the bills wouldn't come until the day the bill was due, or even the day after it was due. Sometimes I wouldn't recieve the bill at all. I have had so many late fees it's ridiculous. They charge you $10 to pay your bill the same day if you pay on line, as well as charging you $10 if you call in a payment as well. Charging you to pay your own bill is just insane. I just paid off my balance and cut up my card. I will NEVER shop at VS again.

As numerous ladies have said, this card is all about how you use it. If you are not responsible with credit, try another card. If you carry a balance, the APR is insane, so try another card. If you pay your balance in full every month (whether **or** NOT you get your statement in the mail..) this card''''s 4% rebate is unbeatable! The only drawback: they caught me with their "Account Assure" program for the first couple months. This program charges you a monthly fee that slipped under my radar. Call the 800 number & cancel this worthless "service" immediatley, & you have yourself one amazing rebate card!

I have the VIP card. I know I have the credit card, I know when I have a balance, and I know my bill is due on the same day every month. So with that being said I pay my bill on time. I thought I'd receive a bill in the mail for my first bill but it didn't come. Does that mean I don't have to pay? I don't think so... just because the bill didn't come didn't mean I have no payment. I paid my bill and everything was fine. Apparently they sign you up for e-statements and if you want paper ones you have to ask for them. Most of the negative reviews are people who pay late and complain about late charges or people who don't pay just because they didn't get a paper copy of their bill in the mail. You have to be RESPONSIBLE with ANY type of CREDIT card. I've called customer service a few times and they are always really nice. And I never get people from India... unless they have perfect "American" accent. Also you only have to pay a fee online if you want it to POST the same day. Meaning your bill is due say the 15th and the 15th comes around and you haven't paid. Then you are like oh crap it's due today. If you wanna pay it to post so you aren't late then you gotta pay a fee. If you are responsible and remember you have a balance then you should pay it before the due date comes. There are 30 days between due dates. If you can't manage to pay online within those days then surely you have time to stop in the store and pay right? If not you shouldn't have the card. There is NOTHING wrong with this card. By having a line of credit with this company you agree to pay your bill on time every month or a late fee will be charged. People don't seem to get that's how credit cards work.

I have had this card for about 5 years and had no problems. Then a recent divorce along with the diagnosis of cancer caused me to miss ONE payment. The phone calls came into my house and cell phone every half hour. When I called and talked to someone in customer service, they were very sympathetic and took my payment. This occurred on a Tuesday. They agreed to post date the payment on Friday. The next day, Wednesday, the payment came out of my account but didn''''t clear. I called and explained the agreement we had with them the day before. NO ONE in customer service could find the note stating the payment would be good on Friday. I asked them to pull the phone records and listen to what was said. Three months later, I finally got a call stating they listened to the tapes and there was NO agreement to take the payment out of my account on Friday. I asked if I could have a copy of the tape and was told the HIPPA law (yeah, the law for medical confidentiality) didn''''t allow them to give out phone recordings. Of course, they charged me $25 NSF, $25 late fee, and have blocked my from getting on the internet to make a payment. Six months later, I am still not able to get on the internet to make my payment, so I have to call them and get charge $10 for making a payment by phone, **or** mailing it. If the mail doesn''''t get to them by a certain date and TIME, I will get charge $25 late fee. They are extremely hard to deal with. When I am shopping in their store, I pay cash and when I hear a clerk ask someone if they want to open a VS credit card, I make sure I step in and tell them they are making a HUGE mistake if they open one up.

After reading a bunch of reviews, some of you people seriously need to get over this. For those of you who claim to have missed "just one payment,"(for whatever reason) and then get harassed with phone calls, etc. what did you expect? You are borrowing a bank''''s money and they expect you to pay it back just like you agreed to when you signed the Agreement. The due date for your payment is the same every month, how can you not know that? I''''ve never had any problem receiving my statement in the mail but if any of you don''''t receive it for one month, be responsible and CALL World Financial yourselves and ask them what''''s going on. It''''s not rocket science. Overall, it''''s a decent card. I would like to see the $5 & $10 dollars off rewards come more frequent, but what ever. I usually pay my bill off in full, but sometimes I''''ll have a remaining balance of no more than 50 **or** 60 bucks....no biggie if you don''''t charge more than you can afford. All in all, anyone who can remember their credit card due dates and can be responsible with how much they charge, I recommend it.

I have had this card for aver 3 years now with not too many issues. I love getting the discount coupons and the regular catalogs that come to my house. I did have a bit of an issue when I first got my card with a wrong address and late fees, but I wasn't treated nearly as bad as any of these other reviews. The customer service wasn't the best in the World, but I wasn't yelled at. It was all fixed within the month and they didn't charge me any late fees. As long as you pay your payments on time you won't get kicked in the rear by the finance charge and late fees. I plan on keeping this card for many more years and enjoy the store. And a quick way to skip the fee for payments online and by phone: go to the store and pay or pay through your bank's online banking. There's ways around fees if you really don't want to pay them.

I had minor problems with credit card fraud charges and was SLIGHTLY late with payment before I got everything straightened out. Paid balance in full over the phone and was never told there would be a late fee. Two months later got a call about overdue bill. They had charged me TWO $20 late fees on me. I paid one (after all I WAS late) and they said they would remove the other. Two months later, two more $20 late fees. They never removed the one earlier late fee like they said they would. I was polite but insisted on talking to manager. All along I was treated like scum. The bank''''s customer service is based in India. They were impatient, not understanding of the original problem dealing with fraud, and acted like I was trying to get away with something when all along I was trying to do the right thing. Even after talking with the manager, I ended up paying another $20 late fee and they adjusted the other one off. I even wrote a certified letter to Victoria Secret and did not even get the courtesy of a reply. I have four teenage daughters. Between them and myself, VS will easily lose over $1000 a year. Apparently VS thinks they are so big that they don''''t have to worry about losing a good paying customer such as myself in these economic conditions. They should find another bank to service their credit card. I''''m a small business owner and I would never dream of treating any of my customers this way. My business is in IT and speak with Indian customer service reps all the time and NEVER have been spoken to like this. Stick with your regular credit card company which most customer service are still based in the USA. This card is definitely not worth any savings!!

I was persuaded to get the card and pay for a $20 purchase. The card did not reach, I called them several times - finally got through and found they were charging me a late fee, seems they had the wrong address. I paid off the entire amount in cash at a store and was assured that I had cleared my balance and had nothing left to pay - surprise - a few months later I get stiffed with another late payment - seems I still owed them $20 - called em up to explain that I had paid - spoke to some rude person - have a blotch on my credit history because of VS - canceled the card - no more VS cards and I'm informing everyone I know about VS unprofessionality.

When I got it, I did not know it was an actual credit card, and I''''d given my debit card so I thought that was what was being charged. Then, THREE MONTHS LATER, I got a statement that was for the original amount (approx $20) with TWO late fees. The statement said to dispute the amount on my card I should write a letter with all of the account info on it. I did. I did not hear any more for two more months, and in the mean time, received two more late fees. I wrote again. I did not hear anything for three months. I finally gave in and called the number (even though it said that by doing so I "might be giving up some rights" **or** something like that, WAY TO VAGUE IT UP FOR ME). The person who answered had a thick Indian accent and was ACTIVELY HOSTILE to me, even while I was trying to remain calm. I got off the phone being no closer to solving the problem. I called a different customer service number. I finally explained the situation to someone and was assured it would be dealt with. Three months later: ANOTHER statement with a couple of late fees. I called AND I wrote another letter. I got more customer service people with thick Indian accents who insisted that I just needed to "pay your bill, ma''''am! PAY YOUR BILL". One seriously YELLED AT ME even while I was being calm and polite. At some point my account got passed to collections and I was being called by creditors three times a day. I was sent a statement that said if I didn''''t pay now (with all the late fees, it was nearly $300) that legal action would be pursued. I called the NEW number. I got a very sympathetic man who listened to my whole story and told me there was absolutely nothing he could do about it and that it would all go away if I just paid the $300 bill. I paid it just so I wouldn''''t have to have creditors calling me three times a day. And then I made sure it was canceled. I will never, ever shop at Victoria''''s Secret again. They are obviously using a credit card service that swindles people out of their money by just ignoring complaints and sending billing statements late.

Lets see, this company just stinks. They will not survive if they can't discover the implications of there sloppy and rude behavior. We are just another example of how poor billing practice can lower and credit score by 90 pts. you have heard the story so I won't even bother. This company is the reason we can't buy an home. My girl friend, Who has never missed a single payment on anything now has a credit score of 649, 662, 697. This will cost us several thousand dollors and not one person in that company will write a letter. I will not forget them so easily.

First of all, I can't help but notice that the people who are having the most problems are the ones who were only approved for $250 or so. I applied for this credit card a month after I turned 18, having only the credit scores I obtained from that first month of credit card gas purchases, and I was approved for $750. If your credit scores are so low that you're only approved for $250, you probably had some bad credit to BEGIN with. Read the terms/conditions and the contract you signed in the store and you'll be just fine. And how can you give someone your social security number and not say wonder why? Anyway. I like this card. Great deals, friendly people. The only issue I've had with it is that when I tried to register to pay my bill online, it said that my information didn't match that entered previously in the store. So I figure that the salesgirl punched in a number wrong or something. So I called and figured it out in 3 minutes. Big whoop.

i never had a problem with vs, been with them for at least 5 yrs. i tried to order something the other day and found out that my credit had been dropped. they transferred me to the billing service and i have never been so insulted in my life. i must have accidentally signed up for the payment online where you don't recieve bills through the mail. when i spoke to the woman about that she cock an attitude and said "nobody but you can sign up for that and you signed up for in 2006." when i tried to explain to her that i had been recieving bills since then she replied "then you weren't paying them on time and that's why you were getting them." i was trying to pay it off until i purchased my house. it was only when i moved i stopped getting it by mail. i will admitt it was my fault for forgetting but i didn't realize and she was utterly rude... i just wanted an understanding of whatwas going on.

Victoria's Secret Identity Protection Plan is AWFUL!

A VS agent persuaded me to sign up for the VS Card Identity Protection Plan. She said the first 30 days are free, and you get a $20 gift card to VS. After 30 days, you're billed $12.99 per month, which you can cancel at any time. I told her honestly that all I would want was the gift card and then I would probably cancel it. No problem, said she, all I had to do was wait for the gift card to come in the mail and then call and cancel, because when they send the gift card is about when they start the 30 day trial. After waiting a month - no gift card. When I called VS Credit Card services, it's a long maze to get to the correct option, or to finally talk to some representative. Finally after getting a human voice, they said that my gift card would be mailed out in 2 weeks and to wait. It's been 3 weeks, no gift card. I called VS again and they directed me to some other company that actually handles this Identity Protection Plan. Guess what? I had to "call" and "register" my credit card in order for them to send me this gift card. Although they billed my credit card for $12.99, which in essence means they HAVE my credit card number, they needed me to personally call them. What a bunch of crock! I was never sent any information stating I had to call and register anything, I wasn't ever told anything. Bottom line: It's just another way they get you to sign up for some service you don't need by luring you with a gift card that never arrives. Then they hope that you either forget to cancel, or won't bother after facing their awful credit card customer service.

My story is almost identical to the previous one! I was a VS "VIP" Angel Card holder for well over a decade, and had always paid my account in full and on time. However, I did not receive a bill for the month of July, and the only item on that bill was a backordered item that had been delivered right on the brink of a new billing cycle. When I got my bill this month, though, there was a late fee and financial fees. I canceled my account b/c either VS had not mailed the bill in the first place, or else some stranger received my bill and has access to my account info. Either way, VS lost what used to be a VERY loyal customer. (Besides, Gilly Hicks and aerie make great lingerie, and in the past couple of years, I found that many of VS products were cheaply made.)

I've had a VS card for years. I've been receiving my statements and paying them online for almost as long. But recently, I didn't receive a statement. Honestly, I did forget about the balance (under $20) because it was for a backordered item. I hear nothing from them until after the payment is late 10 days. Then it jogged my memory and I paid it the same day online. I wasn't charged a late fee (yet), but am deeply concerned now about a dark mark on my credit report. I have never paid a credit card bill late in my life, and thanks to them, I have. This card is getting canceled soon, I just can't take the risk. And really, I don't really need it.

I got this card back in March and apparently signed up for online statements. I only charged 50 dollars to the card and had every intention of paying it off when I recieved the bill in the mail as I assumed I would. Never got a bill quiet frankly forgot about the thing hadn't even activated the real card yet. In June I got a call saying I was 2 months past due and I told them I never got a bill they were very rude on the phone so I told them I would pay off the 73.40 because they did waive one late fee for me then I had to pay 10 dollars to pay by phone. I cancelled the account the same day will never shop or do business with VS again. Not to mention you can't talk to anyone you can actually understand.

I have had this card for a while now and I have never had any problems with it. I work in a restaurant and I have seen how things can be blown out of proportion by customers. Many times people do not want to consider how their actions affect a situation and do not realize that they have an attitude. I'm sure the late fees and everything you complain about are in the contract, a contract is legally binding and you agreed to those terms.

I have had a great experiance with my VS credit card, I pay my payment monthly and on time. After reading the comments I see that the majority are complaints from customers who dont pay their bill on time. If you are old enough to get a credit card you need to be adult enough to pay the bill on time. If someone owed you money wouldnt you call them everyday to get your money back? If you havent recieved your bill be proactive and call them instead of waiting 2 months. I would recommend this card to all my friends the $10.00 coupons are the best!! Keep up the great work!

I have had this card for over 10 years. I have been maybe I day late in all of that time. I usually pay the entire balance off every month. They increase your credit limit all the time, had to put a stop on the credit line increases. Fairly easy card to get and use.

I'm nineteen years old, and I actually used to work for the company. At first, being an Angel was fantastic! The card and it's coupons were very attractive to me, and it was so much easier to swipe and go. However, once I paid my bill online once, that changed everything. It was a while that I haven't received a statement, usually all of my bills roll around the same time each month, and once I'm in receipt of them all, I pay them off one by one. I never received my statement for Victoria's Secret, so I called the number on the back of my card. Apparently, my account was past due, and I told the representative that I had not in fact received a statement. He updated my information in the computer and I agreed to pay over the phone the entire balance. He tried to get me to pay a seven dollar charge because I was paying on the phone, but I tried to get him to understand that if I had actually received my bill, I would have paid it online for free. He waived the fee, but I ran into problems later on. I called back about a week later, because the withdrawal hadn't yet hit my account, so I called just to make sure that the representative took down the correct information. I didn't think she did, even after I made her repeat my account information. She also hadn't informed me of the seven dollar late fee. Two weeks later, after several phone calls to the company questioning when they would take the money out, I get a phone call from World Financial Bank or whatever they're called, saying that I have a balance of twenty two dollars that needs to be immediately paid. I said to the representative, "How, if I just paid my balance in full?!" I asked her to repeat the account information that they supposedly tried to retrieve the finances, and their representative had indeed taken down the wrong information. I ONCE AGAIN made arrangements to pay the bill without a statement, and I thought that would be the end. I called the customer service line again, because the young lady ASSURED me that the money would be taken out at midnight, and I would see it on my banking statement. Still, no withdrawal activity, so I called back. Now the line tells me I have a balance of SEVEN DOLLARS, when I hadn't used my card since May, and it was now July. I get on the line with another lady, and she tells me it's a processing fee for doing the transaction over the phone, although the first and second representative assured me the fee would be waived because I never receieved a statement from them. No one ever knows anything, everyone has a different policy, and every single time I call, they tell me whatever is convenient to taking my money, while charging me for other fees they're not telling me I'm being charged for. With the coupons, READ THEM PEOPLE. You have to spend fifty dollars on a bra to get a free eight dollar panty that cost them a couple of cents to make. I love the Victoria's Secret brand and product line, but they should really ditch the credit cards for two reasons--people don't want to be harassed as they shop about a credit card (they need to have one credit card sign up per 100 transactions) and the customer service is ultimately linked back to this company, even though it is World Financial or whatever they're called were dealing with. I am extremely upset with the service, or lack thereof, and I am closing my account. Although closing it may effect my credit score for now, it's better than being charged without knowing you're charged, then you're stuck with a big fat bill you didn't plan on. (WACHOVIA CREDIT CARDS ARE GREAT! I'D RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE! THEY'RE CUSTOMER SERVICE ROCKS!)

I got this card about no more than a year ago, i actually think it's a little under a year ago. They opened it up with a $250 credit limit. This card has so many awesome rewards. I can't even count how many free things i've gotten so far. A couple months later they raised my credit to $500. I've never made a late payment or missed a payment. I'm going to be 20 in a few days and they just raised my credit limit to $1,030.

I tried to help my daughter work out a problem with this account. She was “sold” a credit card during a visit to a Victoria’s Secret store. When she moved a few months later she wrote her new address on their bill. Her balance was under $50. They did not make the address change but they did charger her $80 (that’s $20 a month) late fees on her sub $50 balance … along with interest. They will not acknowledge that they received an address change but they now hound her at her new phone number. I made an attempt to settle this over the phone and was transferred several times before reaching a U.S. supervisor that basically told me that they would continue to hound her at what ever number they could get and see to it that her credit record would be ruined for at least the next six years if she didn’t pay the $80 late fee as well as all other balances. I suspect they will continue to add $20 a month until her $50 bill exceeds the cap at small claims court. This bank is clearly a consumer disaster cloaked in the garb of a retail store card. I hold Victoria’s Secret responsible as well as the rest of the Limited store companies for being so foolish as to swap a few dollars on their kickbacks from this “business” relationship vs. the lifetime value of their customers once the customer realizes that Victoria’s Secret is behind the bank that has ruined their credit and stolen their money. The marketing department at VS could easily calculate the cost of acquisition and the lifetime value of a 22 year old upper middle class female who resides in a major suburban market. I’ll bet either of these numbers exceeds their cut of the $80 in late fees. I think the place to fix this is probably a combination of actions at their annual meeting, well placed calls to a few newspaper editors that have an interest in retailers that have such a ruinous affect on their young customers. The Elliott Spitzers of the world will soon follow. We just need to get a handle on how many of their customers have bad credit because they did business with WORLD FINANCIAL NETWORK NATIONAL BANK or with Victoria’s Secret and their family of fine retailers.

At first all the coupon booklets and promotional stuff was great. My credit at first was $250 then about 2 months later it rose to $500 and a few months after that it was $950. I have excellent credit and always pay my billson time and in full (except once when I paid half and then the balnce 1 week later). One thing though...the upgrades from Gold to Platinum cards really has no benefit. They pretty much forget about you after the first 6 months. I guess being a loyal responsible customer means nothing really. And customer service needs to stop giving speeches. I decline extra credit card protection only to be told "Well let me give you more details about it" Huh?? Didn't I just say no thanks? I just hung up. Sometimes I pay my bill online but since the web address is not intuitive and NOT found on the VS main website (why not?), I end up sending a check.

I couldn't get this card on my own so I applied using my husband's credit and the application was approved. The card arrived with a $500 credit limit and coupons for the next six months. My husband got a dressbarn account for me to use which is through world financial network bank. They are not a bad bank. We pay our bills ON TIME everymonth. I noticed people who do not pay their bills always are the ones having a hard time or downing the company. The interest rate with the majority of "store" cards are high. Therefore, do not charge a huge amount on these types of cards. I anticipate we will be customer's of this bank for a very long time.

I have to say..I've read several bad reviews regarding this card. I have had it for a year, now, and have never had a negative experience whatsoever. I have always paid my bill on time, mostly in full rather than the minimum due, and they have done nothing but reward me for it. I use it very frequently. I probably charge about $100 a month to it. It was first opened with a $500 limit, and six months later, they upped it to $750. Not only that, but they upgraded my card within a matter of months. When it comes to this card, what I get from reading the reviews and comparing them with my own experience is this: If you use it wisely and pay on time, you will be rewarded heavily. If you misuse it or miss a payment, you'll feel the consequences. I would recommend this card to any girl who likes to pamper herself, and who responsibly pays her bills on time.

I work in the financial services industry and occasionally do free work for people who find themselves in financial distress for whatever reasons (lost job, medical problems, poor decisions). I try and resolve past due debts in a manner that is beneficial for both parties. Most companies that I work with, including credit card companies, are reasonable and courteous to work with. However, World Financial Network National Bank (WFNNB) is the worst company I have ever worked with. The employees seem to be trained to be rude, inconsiderate and spiteful. They lack professionality and appear to take delight in personal attacks. They are also unwilling to consider reasonable offers and seem to delight in further harassment of the debtor as opposed to settling the account. My first advice is not to have charge cards. However, if you must have a card avoid any charge cards (i.e. Victoria's Secret, Maurices etc..) that are underwritten by WFNNB. Lastly, if you do have a WFNNB sponsored card, do not miss payments for whatever reason as these people are ruthless and uncaring. Customer service is concept that is foreign to them. Based on my experience with these people I will not be doing business with stores that use WFNNB services.

Very Dissatisfied Holder of the V.S. Card

OK well, I will be honest, I did not pay the bill always on time, maybe a day late or so. But the bill was always paid until the present month that I had a family emergency, my mother was in the hopsital and made up the amount this month. WHen I had first received the card, I had a limit of $250.00 NOw all of a sudden with no notice or anything, I now have a new limit which is only $100.00 And told I have to wait 8 months to even think of getting it back to the original $250.00/ Plus the attitude I recieved not only from the sales rep, but also from a supervisior who agured with me, that basically I am a bad person and I should pay my bill and it is never paid on time, HE acted like I never paid the bill at all. Which I have all my receipts for to show proof, and also on my account it would be logged. I am just appauled that I have a credit limit and with no notice or nothing, only becaise I saw it online when paying my bill, it was decreased. I find this very bad business! PLus now on top of it, because my limit was decreased, now I am over my limit. The complete part that is so upsetting, it is my bday this sunday, I was looking forward to going shopping for some new trinkets, instead I have a gift card I cannot use, has to be used with the credit card, and on top of that the extra I paid to the bill is now just eatten up and no credit, instead of me having close to 100.00 to charge! Not happy at all, plus never have heard of lowering ur credit, know not raising it, but not lowering it! If someone would like to get back to me about this matter I would apprecaite it

I just want to say that I have 2 Credit cards with this bank and NEVER have I had a problem. I have made pymts at the store and later on I was able to pay online (love it) I do receive my bills, but by the time I get it, I already paid for it. I did have a problem with my very 1st pymt. (I forgot about the due date) Being that I work in Customer service, I used a little lie that I learned from my customer's: I did not get a bill. Luckily, I gave them my address as a DRIVE and they had AVE, I had the store clerk call them for me and she fixed it, and SHE got me the late fee credit...Where I live we have 2 VS stores: a lingerie and a beauty shop...the beauty shop clerks are stuck ups. I do understand though, how some of you feel...I have dealt with other cos...such as Sprint/Verizon NOW they have bad customer service when it comes to credits/adjustments. But that's another website...IF the things that happened to some of you would of happened to me, I would feel the same way too...

WFNNB has caused me to never shop VS again

I was in VS buying about $200 in garments, which I had the cash in my purse to pay for. The sales clerk offered me a free bra if I applied for the angel card. I thought, what the heck, I'll do it and then pay off the account. I owed $195.41 and paid them off in full on August 31, 2005. In September I got a statement saying I owed 25.00 for NSF fee when my husband had submitted a $10.00 payment online on 8/23 and through a glitch between my direct deposit and my bank it was returned. Then when I call I start dealing with WFNNB customer service people, I ask them to waive the fee because my account is paid off in full and explained the mistake with my direct deposit being a day late. They ask for my employer to send a letter to say it was their fault. When I told them that was too much hassle, they say the only thing I can do is pay the $25.00. Now two months later and they keep adding on $20.00 late fee each month via "pyramiding late fees" which I think is illegal (right now I'm looking it up on FTC.gov), anyway, I call to see about getting the late fees waived and tell them I am willing to pay the original $25.00 and they tell me no. So twice I have asked to talk to their supervisor and they put me to her voicemail. Her name is Tammy and she DOES NOT CALL BACK!!! Now they have submitted this to the credit bureaus and it is damaging my good credit rating. I am disgusted with WFNNB at this point and to that extent I am also through with Victoria Secret. It will take them years to get my business back again, if they ever do. I am now in the process of writing letters to VS and WFNNB in a effort to get this CRAP removed from my Credit report. I hate learning lessons the hard way, but other credit companies will waive fees if you ask and are a decent person, but WFNNB doesn't care and they must be one of the sleaziest credit card companies out there. I can't believe Victoria Secret even does business with them. As for the former VS employee telling all of us truth tellers to grow up and then giving this card all 5's, look up the word shill in the dictionary and then grow a conscience.

Fraudulent charge to my account.

The company charged another person's purchase to my account including late fees and missed payment. The company sent the purchased item to the person with a different name than mine and charged the person's bill to my account with my name. Since I moved to a new place, when I received the notice from the bank, it has already reported to the credit report system and my credit is ruined. What saddens me is the fact that the company know the purchaser's name is different from my name and charged her purchase to my account. THis is a fraud or theft. I called the company asking about who purchased the item that I did not purchase but they say they could not disclose the person's name or even city of the adress. I think I have a right to know whose item is being charged to my account and where the thief lives who purchase items using my account. I am going to request the thorough investigation and possibly the possibility of litigation to protect my credit history.

I have had so many problems with Victoria's Secret's (WFNNB) CSRs that it is ridiculous. I called in to change the bank account from which they were automatically making drafts from for my payments, and they assured me that the change was made. The next month I received a $25 fee for returned check fee and a $25 late payment fee because my bank information was with a bank that I was no longer using. I called back and nothing was done to rectify the situation. There were no notes taken or no record/voice recording of the call. I will never use this card again. I have to resort to mailing in my payments to ensure that it gets to them without any problems. I have had additonal problems with them, but I would like to forget about the whole experience. Why is it so hard for these cc companies to get qualified individuals for these customer service positions? These people are totally inept! Spend some of that money you are collecting in fees for more rigorous training sessions for your employees!

Victoria's Secret Angel Credit Card

I am a loyal Victoria's Secret client and spend hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars per visit at VS and other recognized and luxury retailers, such as, bebe, La Perla, SAKS, Tiffany & Co., etc. I have exclusive credit cards (Diners Club, American Express SPG) and for a while had the VS Angel Credit Card. Cardholders receive a passport of savings, complimentary catalogues, and occasional offers for a free panty. But these benefits can be received without being a cardholder. The company recognizes its loyal and high spenders regardless of the credit card they use. Prior to being a cardholder I received complimentary catalogues, offers for free lingerie, and a wealth of promotional materials. Bear in mind this is a globally recognized and mainstream band. VS stores receive high traffic especially during the Christmas season. VS stores do not distinguish and give preferential treatment to their cardholders. This is a card that anyone can obtain so if you're seeking an exclusive retail credit card then this is not it. I would like to see more benefits especially for high spenders. Use AMEX SPG and bank points for free travel and hotel stays.

I would change a few things! First of all, I never received my statement, but was told that the fact that I never received it was my fault! I paid my last bill in the store and was told my account balance was $0. I paid in the store because I had not received a bill! Now, 90 days later, I am overdue and treated like a criminal...for $10.00!!!!!! I have cancelled my account and will not ever do business with them again! By the way, the CSR was VERY rude and smug. If I treated my customers that way, I would be living on the street...

I have had my VS Angel card for almost a year now, and have never had a problem with customer service, etc. I pay my bill on time every month and my balance in full. I was recently given a credit limit increase from $300 to $550! and also was upgraded to the vs gold credit card, where I can earn points to receive rewards. I also have another card issued by WFNNB and have had no problems with that account. I think they are a great bank. So, if you pay your bills on time and are responsilbe with your cards, you will have no problems

I'm shocked to hear what some have said about this credit card. First off, it's a credit card - you signed up for it, you knew the interest rates and terms/conditions. Second, there is no annual fee. I worked at a VSB for years, we did not sell the card, but those in VSS did...I know there are no fees. About the Gold Card level - you must spend $500 in one year to receive your upgraded Gold Card. At that point, you will receive Angel Rewards for points you have earned. Those rewards come in the form of $25 and $50 gift cards. This is a great card to have if you shop the Limited Brands often, as it's accepted in all Limited Brand Stores. Seriously folks, no credit card is particularly great, but this one at least offers rewards for shopping, etc....like a Discover card.

I always receive my statements. I would be fine with not receiving them because I keep on top of my account and know when my payments are due. It's the same time every month, people! If you don't receive your statement then be proactive. Give VS your new address! I have received even better costumer service on the phone than in the store. Simply because the sales people can be annoying. But, hey, it's there job!

I personally have never had a single problem with the VS card. In fact, after just a short time of using the card and paying the bills on time, I received a gold card and a few months later a platinum. And quite often, free and/or discount offers. I have always received my statements, and even when things got a little rough for me and my husband and I had to pay it a bit late, I still never had a problem. Some people need to wake up and realize that just because you are having a baby or what ever the issue is, you are not the only one and you still have to pay your bills. Not only that, but if you call them BEFORE the account goes into default, they might be more willing to work with you. This card is one of the only ones that I will never get rid of.

I think the women complaining about this card are nuts. If you pay your bills and are cordial to others you will never have a problem. I love this card! I receive a statement every month. I have never had a problem ordering on-line. The people working in the stores are always great. I receive great coupons in the mail all the time. I haven't had any problems with this card. It is great for any Victoris's Secret shopper who would like to get some coupons and discounts. :)

I make purchases in store and pay my bills after a couple of weeks in the store as well. I never receive any statements in the mail. Just because I pay my bill before it is due does not mean that I should not recieve a formal statement in the mail. I do not know how many points I have accumulated because you cannot see them online and I have not received a statement in over a YEAR!!!

Not only are the interest rates outrageous (as to be expected for a Department store card) I was told if I spent $500 in a year I would get a credit limit increase and coupons.. I never received the coupons. Then one day I went to Bath adn body works to use my card and they said I was over my limit... Victorias Secret had double charged me for $180 order I had placed (how convienent after I made a complaint about wanting my coupons) This all happened in October and I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING!!!

Horrible Place

I had struggled thru a pregnancy recently and was not able to work or make money. After explaining this to VS and WFNNB they would call me every 2-3 days harrassing me, saying that if I didn't pay now that they were going to send it to collections. I was ok with the collections part only because I knew the policy. By the time that I was able to pay them six months later, a $200 credit bill turned into $530 from late charges and intrust. I paid them off in ten days in two small chunks, and still recieved threatening calls from WFNNB. The man on the other end was screaming at me and I could hear him pounding on the desk. He told me that I had to pay him over the phone, which is something that I will do for no one because I've never recieved a bill from them. He said that if I didn't that they were going to take me to court and sue me and that I'd better find a lawyer. I would have paid them on line but they don't have a web site either. The only way that I could have a personal record of transactions was thru snail mail. I was still pregnant at the time of all of this. I don't know how they can't even be a little bit understanding in working with customers. They could have put my account on hold untill I had my child or paid them off. This experiance scared me so badly that I will never even walk into VS, afraid that they might still keep my account open and charge my account with them.

My fight with VS

I moved about two years ago...I called to change my address four times with VS. Finally, after one year of fighting...and not recieving a bill but recieving finance charges for the bill I did not recieve...the address was changed. I again had to fight my way to the supervisor...who after a few more months took the finance charges off the bill...which I promptly paid in full. Will never use their card again!!! Would not recommend their card to anyone...they are not good for business!!

Lost payment

I got my card last february and paid my bill a few days after making a purchase at a local V.S. store. The cashier never gave me a reciept and never credited the check to my account, she cashed it as a store check. I called V.S. and they asked me to send a copy of the check from my bank, so I did. I sent them 2 copies which they lost both times and getting them to reverse finance charges was like pulling teeth. After sending them a third copy of a check they finally credited my account, which took 7 months to accomplish. Then as an apology they sent me a packet of coupons that I can only redeem if I charge a minimum of $100.00 om my charge card!!!

I too was scammed on the annual membership. They automatically took out from my bank account the membership dues since 2002 and they will not credit me all 3 years, only 2004 after a dispute with the supervisor of customer service. I am in the process of reporting this to the attorney general office. What a disappointment.

Unauthorized Charges

I been receiving unauthorized charges on my Victoria Secret account since July. I called the VS and WFNNB. The bank informed me that an "outside" vendor made these charges. I explained I did not authorize these charges and they told me that I would continue to receive these charges until I contact the outside vendor. I cannot understand how a BANK would allow an outside vendor to continue to charge my account after informing the bank that I did not AUTHORIZE these charges and the bank continues to add LATE CHARGES. The bank reps were not helpful or understanding and could not explain how my account was being charged. It doesn't make sense to me that a BANK would continue to allow this to happen without a reasonable explanation.

I've had this card for several years and haven't had any problems. During the time that I've had the card, I've changed my name and moved more than once without any difficulty. I ordered from their catalog and then returned the item months later because it ripped due to poor workmanship and I received FULL credit back. If your account is in good standing and had 4 months of activity within the last year, you shouldn't have any problems getting the lower interest rate, you just have to ask for it. I have to agree with the other posts that I have seen, pay your bills and communicate with the company and you shouldn't have any problems.

WFNNB stinks!

Sure Victoria's Secret's card is easy to use either online or in store, however once you get home it falls flat on its face. WFNNB is difficult to contact. Until recently they haven't even had a website and now that they do there is absolutely NO information about WFNNB. It only contains links to other places. I clicked on contacts thinking "company contacts" and was directed to a list of contact lens sources. There is no company info, no company contacts, no phone number, no mailing address. This is almost 2005 and WFNNB is the only bank I know of that you can't access online. Even my little hometown bank gives me access to my account online. I would like to see VS change to another bank's card. I have no problem with any other store card I use. All offer online account access and have polite and helpful customer service reps. The only reason I give them 1 star is that there is no 0.

I love Victoria Secret products. I really enjoy having the VS credit card and like that it can be used through Bath & Body Works as well. The huge problem that I am having is that I find it easier to access my bills online. I can't believe that such a great company wouldn't have internet access to their accounts. I have often thought of closing the account because it has caused me some grief having to mail payments. Please consider setting up an online service!!!!

I've had this card for almost a year and all of a sudden I check my credit report and it shows that I was 30 days late. The 2 months before it was reported I had a $0 balance therefore no payments should be due. But somewhere along the line they reported me to the credit bureau. That's some crock! Am I supposed to send them a payment when $0 is due in order to keep them from turning me into the credit bureaus???? Watch out people! Check your credit reports!

Awsome Angels Card

After reading the posted reviews I had to post my own opinion. Good card to have? If you shop often with Victorias Secret, yes. They card is good to have for discounts on bras and free panties. They also send you promotional offers for Gifts with purchase. They send out brochures with coupons for free bags with purchases, I just got mine in the mail recently. They do this every november. If you move and don't inform your credit card companies they have every right to contact a collection agency. Plus if you accidently don't check US$ on the form how are they supposed to know, it's your fault. Most of the complaints are all just other peoples ways of complaining about their own wrong-doing. If you use this card responsibly it have excellent rewards unlike ANY other house charge. Just like any other card it needs to be paid on and used correctly.
Most Attractive Feature: They send you coupons for free panties, perfume and a $10 Birthday card. COMPLETELY FREE!
Least Attractive Feature: The intrest is high, you can get it reduced after a year if your accounts in good standing

I have had only one quibble with VS and that was partly my fault. I charged something from the catalogue and sent it back and I had to pay the break I got in price. It was a bummer. Other than that, this is a great card. You should never carry a really big balance because the interest rate is a killer. I like that they have low minimum payments and they send those coupons where you can get free underwear and not have to buy anything! They also give you price breaks on other merchandise. I'll probably keep this card forever.

Late payment charge of $20.00 per billing period

I purchased a bra and opened up an Victoria's Secret Angel Credit Card. I received my bill and made a payment for the balance but mistakenly did not put "US $" on my cheque. I live in Canada. The payment was due on June 19,2004 and I mailed the cheque on June 14/04. The cheque was not processed until June 28, 2004 and cleared my bank on June 30, 2004. Because of this I was charged a $20.00 "late fee" plus interest! In the meantime I went away to Europe for the summer thinking I had paid up my account. I did not get home until September to find out that I had sent a cheque in CDN$ instead of USD$ and have also been charge another "late fee" of $20.00. I know owe $52.80 on top of the $25.66 I paid making this "bra" one of the most expensive on the planet ($78.46 USD!!!!!) How do these companies get away with this credit terrorism? How can they charge such exhorbitant "late fees" as well as out of this world interest? Are there no government agencies that regulate interest and late fees??? This is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

I had a VS credit card 3-4 years ago and the nightmare begins. I used the card probably twice or three times when I first got it. Today I called in to cancel the account only to find out that I had to call WFNNB due to some problem. I called and they said that I had some over due balance and it's been a long time and I had to call a collection agency. I moved and never recieved any bill. They are rude and accused me of providing the wrong information and therefore they cannot contact me. It's been three years I have no way of knowing if the balance is truely what I owe them or it's their mistake or fraud charges. To clear up my credit, I had to call the collection agency to be harassed before I find out how much I have to pay to get things cleared. Through the harrasment I decided to pay whatever they said I have to pay to get them off my back. I never got an information from WFNNB on the charges that they said I owe. It's like someone saying to you "You owe me this amount, and I cannot tell you when, where, or why and I'll harass you until you pay". It's a scam. It's been such a horrible experience that I ended up calling to cancel all of my credit cards except for one that I always use. I would never ever ever apply for any credit card again that's associated with WFNNB. After reading the reviews for this bank, I know I'm not alone and I know we all suffered from their FRAUD scheme. I will warn everyone I know about this bank and the credit cards that they issue.

First of all, thank you to the previous poster who stated that some of the reviews just sounded dumb. I have to agree. Hello- it's your responsibility to tell any and all of your creditors if you're moving, changing phone numbers, etc! Secondly- if you're rude to customer service reps of collectors, they're not going to want to help you. If you do fall behind, believe it or not, the collectors that call you initially want to help you get back on track. It's a lot easier to get an account that's a month or two behind brought up to date than it is an account that five or six months late. Offer to work with your credit card comany, be it WFNNB or any other, and they'll be more willing to work with you. Yes, the APR on the VS card is high, but take a close look at all your store credit cards, versus major cards. Most all store-specific cards have higher APRs. For those who were disappointed because they didn't get a birthday coupon, I asked and found out that they don't go to everyone, especially if your birthday isn't on file anywhere. (VS cards didn't require a date of birth on their applications until recently.) But, if you go to the link that the previous poster provided and register your card, date of birth is part of the registration process, and that will put your info into their system, increasing your chances of getting a birthday gift card and other fun stuff. Or, they even have a new link so you don't have to type the whole long thing in- www.vsangelcard.com I've personally had my card for years and never had a problem with it, but they've never had a problem with me, either.

I've read many of these reviews and the people writing a lot of them sound dumb. If you stop getting a bill because you moved, do you think that VS has decided you don't need to pay anymore because they love you? I mean seriously. This card is great, yes it has high interest rates, but if you were going to pay with another card or cash why not just do it on this card and then pay it off when you get home with another credit card with lower interest and just reap the benefits of this card!? I have used this card for a little over 3 months now and never had an issue with it. 1. I have been handed the terms and agreement packet when I applied 2. Customer service did provide me with assistance without any rudeness. 3. I manage to pay my bills on time to keep those creditors off my back After I read the terms and agreements, I understood what I was receiving. Yet, I am amazed with the negative comments about this card. It's pretty decent; however, the interest is a killer. I also heard that if you are a new cardholder that they send you a $10 birthday gift certificate. If that's true, I never got that birthday present and my birthday was about 3 weeks ago! That's ok though, I call customer service later about it.

I have had the VS Gold Card for three plus years and have never had a problem. I have always had very nice people when I call in and they never have been rude or inconceriate. Once you have the card for a while a year or more you can call and ask for a lower interest rate. I did about a year ago and they cut mine in half.

I have never personally had any problems previously mentioned with this card. The website is easy to use, great for managing your account and posts payments within a couple of days. The interest rates are pretty high, but comparable to other dept. store cards (ie: sears). They gave me a good line of credit--WAY more than I would spend in any given time on underwear--plus a coupon book with six-month's worth of savings.

I have noticed many attractive retail stores lately have gone with the WFNNB company for their credit cards. this is a big mistake. they were rude to me and had strict limits to there services. i have complained and never had any response from them. my advice to customers-is to stay away from anything labeled WFNNB.

I have had my VS card for several years now and I always get cards in the mail for free panties and $$off purchases...etc. I have used it over and over and have never had one bit of trouble when making returns even from catalog purchases. To me it is one of the better department store cards to have and as long as you are responsible about how much you charge, you shouldn't have a problem because they have really low minimum payments. I just wished they did have online payment services because I pay all my bills online and can't this one.

I would honestly say this is one of the worse retail cards I own. The credit is very easy to receive, would be a good card if you shop a lot at victoria's secret to receive the upgraded limits on the card, but honestly not worth the trouble getting. The only benefit you will recieve is the coupon book that is sent when they send you the card, be careful not to enroll in the identity theft service because you won't get any thing out of it, you'll just be wasting another 10 dollars and cotinuing to pay it and may risk messing up your credit rating. Other good credit builders I recommend, Express, Gap.

I've had my VS card for over a year now and I have had no problems. Within the first year I managed to spend $500 and I got an upgraded card, increased limit, and a $25 gift card. 25 bucks isn't much for spending $500 but I probably would have spent the money with or without the card so I see it as a bonus. Also $500 is easy to spend when you're buying online or from the catalogue beacuse they sell entire outfits, like pants, shoes, coats, dresses and more. It may have a high APR but I've never had to pay it beacuse I pay all my bills on time. So if you know how to handel your money then I recommend the card.

Because the interest rate is astronomically high and you can't request a lower rate, this is not a card to charge a lot on unless you make tons of money or unless you don't care about going into debt. It's nice to get the reward points once you are a Gold card holder, but the interest rate makes the card less than a pleasure to own.

This credit card is just like every other card that is out there. You have to have good common sense though before you get it or you will not know what to expect. If your really concerned about your credit like most of you have claimed then you will check everything out before you sign the paper to get this card, if you dont then thats your fault not VS. I've never had any problems w/this card because I knew what I was getting into before I signed for it.

I have had my angel card for about a year and a half now, and I enjoy being able to get things from Victoria's Secret with it. There are 2 drawbacks that I can tell though.. First is even attempting to spend 500 a year in undies, are you nuts and after spending that obsene amount on undies, only getting a 25 dollar gift card? It is not worth it!!!!!!! The second drawback is that when I want to pay my credit card bill, instead of going to the store, sending it snail mail or getting charged to pay it over the phone before 7 pm central time I want to do it in my cute over-priced undies online!!!

I've never had any rude customer service or problems with this company. They give you a grace period on payments that are only a few days late and the minimum payment is really low! The only downside to this card is that the interest rate is enormous and you can't consolidate it to another credit card with a lower interest rate. Also, the deals that only Angels Card holders are entitled to are kinda pointless because the interest rates are so high.

when i applied for the card, i was never given the terms and agreements or anything to sign. when i called to cancel my card, i found that i had to pay a cancelation fee that i was never told about. I also found that because i am not 18, they had changed the year of my birthday to make it so i was 19!! not only did i call the store outraged, i called my lawyer and am now filing a lawsuit. if you are planning on getting this card, good luck don't get scammed!

I am not even 18 years old, when they offered me the card the simply said it was for frequent buyers. Now i have frequent buyer cards for other stores, they are not credit cards. The lady asked for my phone number and social security card. At that point i said i had changed my mind and to forget it, she said " no it will only take a minute its ok." so she proceeded to call some company and give them my name and address. she said i would be reciving something in the mail about it. she never asked how old i was, and she never gave me the terms and agreements which she was supposed to do. The next day i called the store at which i applied at and they said the only thing they could do is give me a 1-800 number to call which was a phony number. i then went on their web site and found another number. i called them and said i wished to cancel it, they told me i would have to pay a cancelation fee. i said absolutly not i am not paying it, i never sign a contract because i was never given one so i am not paying anything. she then asked me when my birthday was i said 1986, she said that she had in her computer that it was 1985 ( that would make me 18, and elegable for their scam.) i corrected her and she said not to worry because since i didn't have one year of established credit i would not be able to recieve their card anyways. i then went to the store and asked to speak to the manager i told her what had happened and she gave me in store credit. that is the last time i will ever apply for anything that isn't through a bank or a reliable company.

They screwed up my credit report

They claimed I made a purchase one year ago, but all their statements were returned to them. Then I verified my address with them, which was correct. They reported this to credit bureau and screwed up my credit score. But the whole thing is not my fault. I didn't receive a statement and they never tried to call me until one year later. ABSOLUTELY WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Four years ago I was shopping in Victoria's Secret with a friend. They had a sale on and I bought two bras for 12 dollars. I do not apply for department or specialty store credit cards, expecially for a whole 12 dollars. But the salesperson was begging us to apply because we would get a percentage off and they were having a contest and it would REALLY help her out. So we caved. Only after I asked her if I could apply, pay and cancel the card before leaving the store. She said yes (apparently you have to cancel after you make the 1st monthly payment, but somehow she either didn't know this or was lying to me and pocketing my cash.) So I applied, was accepted, charged it, and then paid it at the register. Done. Did I mention 12 dollars? That month I moved and forwarded my mail. I NEVER received a statement from them, and didn't notice because it was my first card ever (didn't really know what I was getting into HA!) and I had cancelled it. A year later I lost my job and had money problems. 6 months after that I had a problem getting loans at all, and figured that someone had reported me even though I worked with all of my creditors thru the bad times. And then I checked my credit report. VS had reported me for being 90 days late and then close the account, by then two years had gone by and my credit was poor. I was outraged!!! When I called to explain the situation to them the lady told me that if I paid the over $100 in late fee that they would remove it from my Credit Report. I REFUSED! We battled it out and I told her that I was not paying for something that I had ALREADY paid for!!! She lied and told me that she was the manager, and then told me that she wasn't authorized to handle my situation.. so then I said "So you arn't the manager?" and got connected to her supervisor. He basically treated me like a child and told me that he would remove it but basically I was lying and hadn't paid. DID I MENTION 12 DOLLARS???? 12 dollars seems like a huge motive to avoid paying bills doesn't it? 4 years later I applied for a Limited account. I was refused due to the VS issue. And I have good credit. So apparently it is off my Credit Report.. and it is still in their system. I did the research and found this wonderful company was behind both the Limited and Victoria's Secret. I will NEVER apply for a credit card thru this company again.

Good way to wreck your credit history

This card was offered to me once when I bought my girlfriend a gift - the hook was a discount off my purchase. Fine. Cut to five years later. I'm checking my credit record and find a black mark. VS says I owe them $270. Funny. Never bought more than $50 worth of undies. Guess they ignored my 'change of address' notices when I moved. Now it's my fault? Every other card I held (several) didn't have any trouble keeping up. Avoid at all costs. Not worth it AT ALL.

I've had my VS angel gold card for about 5 years now and not 1 problem since!! I've even made some payments about two days late in the store, and I've never been charged a late fee!! I love my card because with it I can be sexy even when I'm running low on cash!!! Just about every female I know has a VS card, and everyone loves it. I've tried shopping through Fredericks website, but never ever again, now that is EXTREMELY bad customer service!!!!!!

Change of address wreaks havoc on my credit report.

I went to apply for a mortgage today. I discovered a black mard on my credit report- something of which I knew nothing about. My credit is awesome otherwise. Apparently I owe Victoria's Secret $182. I was never informed because according to them I didn't tell them my new address. I thought I had told everyone but I also went to the post office and had my mail forwarded but Victoria's Secrets doesn't forward mail. So now because of a $66.00 charge I owe twenty something dollars in interest and $100.00 in late fees. Customer service was extremely rude. THey wouldn't send me documentation. They told me to pay now or go to court. THey wouldn't take my updated information. I am extremely irritated with Victoria's SEcret. I am 30 years old, have never charged more than I can pay off in one payment and have never had anything wrong with my credit before now.

I don't know why you people seem to have a problem finding out about payments or can't seem to use the online payment service. I pay through the website every month and it comes directly out of my checking account, so I don't have to worry about late payments. You can find the link in the Customer Service section of the website (that's how I found it, then I bookmarked it). As for trying to find out about posted payments, if it's not listed on the website, call customer service's 800# and simply ask. I never had problems with them before I started using the online payments, but I find them to be a lot easier and more convenient. I do all of my shopping online, and payments and purchases do take 1-2 days to post, but other than that you can find it all on your online account summary.

I made a payment over the phone and four weeks later it still has not cleared my checking account. After receiving confimation that a payment had been made I was charged a late fee and my name sent to the credit bureau. The people in customer service are extremely rude and since I was frustrated with them anyway they became even more rude. I would recommend this card to anyone because this company will ruin your credit if you don't watch them.

I was told this was okay and that it would be applied to my account as soon as received. It does not seem to be happening.How do I find out if this has been applied to my account. I have spent a lot of money at victoriasserect over the years using my other credit cards and jus don't know why I can't find out why a payment of $100.00 I sent was applied to my account or not. I finally decided to get an Angel Card as many benefits came with using it and it is also the best company as far as style, fit because I am small and there is never a problem returning an item that is not as pictured, too large, etc. I am amazed at how quickly my cards have been credited. No waiting 2 cycles. I would love to keep my card. But I want to be able to find out when you have received a payment. No one wil he wih this. Thank you.

Credit line decrease

Am a Gold Card member, rcv numerous discount cards etc., payment was one (1) day late to post, I pay bills on-line thru bank, happened twice in a 12 month period, (1) day late, would not forgive service charge, (I paid more than the monthly payment, only had $200.00 balance), dropped credit limit from $2000 to $200, amount of balance. Would not negotiate, customer service claimed credit balance would return if not late for nine months. I am being punished for others who get big balance and declare bankruptcy. Paid balance over the phone, now zero balance, and they are sending me more discount cards than before, but I refuse to use the card. VS credit lost a customer.

Sorry to those of you who think that this is a bad company, and you have to realize that sometimes there are overwhelming phone calls that may cause you to be on hold for some time, but that is not their fault, you just have to have patients. The only time I have ever had a dispute with them they made sure that I was compleltly satisfied with their services and they were willing to do whatever it would take so that I was completly satisfied with their services. I think that people just have to have more patients with Credit Card companies and understand that they can only take care of so many customers at a time.

I am very sorry for everyone who posted a negative review of the victoria's secret angel card.I am a gold card memeber, and have never had a problem with getting my member rewards. Also I am thrilled that I can use my card at Bath and Body Works, and now Calyx and Carolla to order flowers for special occations. The only problem I have ever had is this; it takes them a little longer than most credit cards to process your payment thru the mail. But now I just do checks over the phone. I pay it off in lump sums, so the $5 electronic check fee doesn't bother me. Also, I can pay it online or in the store. So I honestly don't know what everyone is complaining about. And yes their intrest rate is high, but..that's why we don't make minimum payments, so we don't have intrest builing up.

One month after closing my accont, I recieved a bill for $8.99 for some identity protection service that I never signed up for. I tried calling customer service but couldn't get anyone on the phone. I wrote a letter and a month later recieved another bill with the same charge along with a $1.00 finance charge. After trying to call, I just paid it, I was sick of dealing with it. Then, another month later, I recieved another bill with a $9.99 credit. Since I don't have my card anymore, I can't use the credit, so I tried calling customer service again. I finally got someone one the phone and they are sending a check. I guess I was just having a lucky day that day.

Online Credit Card Payment

So, I've been a cardholder for a couple of months now, and I did notice that there was no information from customer service about an online payment method. This message board helped me find the online payment website @ http://onlineaccess.mycreditcard.cc/victoriassecret?Action=AccountSummary.jsp However, I still was unable to register my new account, and I called customer service. They informed me that I could not register my account online b/c they did not have my birthdate or e-mail address in their system, which are required fields to register online. Thus, I provided this information for them, and within 24hrs I should be able to register online. I admit that it was a hassle, but hopefully, I will no longer receive frustration about VS billing.

Recently I mailed in a payment. A month after mailing the check, it was finally taken from my checking account-BUT WAS NEVER POSTED TO MY VS ACCOUNT. Confused, I called their customer service and was given a bunch of excuses. After being treated like a fool and given way too many BS excuses, I asked for a supervisor. The man swore that a supervisor couldn't do anything that he already tried. Wrong! I found out through a supervisor that my check WAS cashed, but was placed into a certain account they have for when their little brains have no clue what account to post it to. Since locating this problem (three weeks ago), they have still failed to resolve the problem.

I had alright credit at first, now a year later thanks to V.S. and WFNNB they gave me a break and now i can get any card i want on top of the fact if you pay ontime, wich i have never had a problem doing, They increase your limit wich looks even better on your credit report and lets others have the confidence to give you there cards. Like so many of the other customers, my bill arrives too late to wait for it and pay it on time. I know what my statement closing and due dates are, and send a payment with my account number on it whether or not I received the bill. Also, their website does include online statement viewing and bill payment now, though I haven't used that feature yet to rate it. https://onlineaccess.mycreditcard.cc/victoriassecret I have had no problems with customer service regarding multiple address changes and lost cards. It is annoying that they force you to listen to a spiel about some credit protecting service on the phone, but that's my only complaint there. PS: In many states, you can get yearly credit reports for cheap or for free! Just go directly through the bureaus. But anyway, I'm happy with this card overall, even though the bills come so late.

Have tried repesstedly to pay through the VS website and finally went to the WFNNB site through teh Angel Card link. Put my info in three times and still could not register. Have been a cardholder of Victoria's Secret for almost ten years and still have to send through the mail!! How can the site not allow you in on your acct. # and various other info that you know is correct. Wasted another hour this time.

well, I opened an Angel account about 3 months ago (I think) well, 3 months ago, my credit was GOOD, now.. when I decided to apply for another CC, I got a letter saying that I have delinquent acc info!! how could this be??? If that were the case my new AT&T phone would have costed me $250 with deposit but I had $0 deposit. I always pay my bills on time, I miss nothing.. I AM EXTREMELY CAREFUL... I am desperate, cant wait to get that free credit report.. something is telling me that it all began with the Angel Card. (I pay my bill online). So ladies & gentlemen.. be careful. Where's the online payment feature??

Could someone please post the link to the online payment? I have an online account and I have the ability to view everything for my bill...there's simply no payment options visible and I've clicked on everything I can think of! Overall, I really like the card--it's so handy! But, I've called in about cancelling the account (at a time when I decided I didn't want to keep it open) and here about a week ago I reapplied in store--and they had never closed my account. Customer service really needs to be re-evaluated!! Also, I do think that the interest rate is a bit much for a store card.

WFNNB is the worst credit company ever!!

I missed one paymnet because of financial situation, and they started calling me 10 times a day at least, so I sent a check to stop the phone call. I picked up the phone once and told them that I sent the check. A week late, i received a letter from them saying that they still haven't receive the payment. I figured that the mail was lost for some reason, so I immediately sent another check. 2 days later, they called me at work and strated yelling and hrassed me for not receiving the payment. I tried to explained but they didn't listened to me. I do not recommend this card at all. I pay the late fee, and what's the point of having the late fee if they don't allow us to miss one payment and why do they have to harrase customer just because they miss ONE payment????

I put enough Victoria's Secret merchandise on my Gold Card to earn $50 in rewards certificates. Too bad I never got them. Customer Service has had me calling them since October and promised to send out my certificates multiple times. Now it is December and no certificates. Get a Discover Card - they give you the rewards that you rightfully earn!

No matter what customer service tells you--yes, you can pay your account online. I dont know why they want to make online payment another SECRET. I have a hunch its because they love collecting late fees. I was late one and the customer service Rep said "We never refund late fees"...even as a courtesy! Anyway, yes, you can pay online at: http://onlineaccess.mycreditcard.cc/victoriassecret I'll never be late again....and I plan to continue to work on them to reverse my late fee.

I opened this account when I ordered 2 identical formals (size 8 & 10) for my daughter, unsure of her size. Returns were free. I promptly returned the 8 in their box with their UPS tracking label. UPS confirmed delivery on 9-15-03. I am still receiving bills and phone calls for this dress in November, although I have sent them all the documentation concerning its return.

Like many of the other cardholders I would recieve bills a day or two before they were due and have to hurry to get them paid on time!! One memory definitely sticks out in my mind....I had called with a question/complaint about my bill being late and as soon as I had started to state my problem I was hung up on!!!! I really wonder where they hire these people from. I would be perfectly happy never to own one of their cards ever again!

the good things: - discounts.(mail, bill or catalogue) - people at VS treats you real good when they know u have a VS card. - you can review your detailed statement ONLINE YES! - you can pay your bill ONLINE YES! bad part: - bill arrives 10 days before it's due! (I had to pay online to avoid a nasty situation) Ok, other than that..it's good, I mean paying online you save .37 cents monthly and you keep way better control over the card than on regular paper. Now I had to contact costumer service online to ASK them when I was going to be billed. Used the card 10/4 but, nothing was online until I sent that email to them, 10/9 it showed up and my bill was out in the mail. Bill arrived 10/23, due 11/3.

I too have had problems with this card. I never received my first bill due to an address error which makes no sense because they swipe an existing card to get your info when you apply for credit. I married and changed my name with my other WFNNB card (NY&CO) which they then passed on to VS, but alas VS had spelled the name wronge. Customer Service sucks and when I called about not receiving my bill and to get the mailing address, the guy didn't know what I should make the check out to!! And he also told me you could not pay online yet, a service which they do offer for NY&CO. So today after reading one review which said you could pay online, I managed to find the site by going to my NY&CO site and changing the end of the website addres from NewYork&Company to Victoria's Secret! I just wanted to come back and let all of you know the web address: www.onlineaccess.mycreditcard.cc/victoriassecret At least this helps with the last minute bills.

I got the card when the sales woman commented of the free coupon book I'd receive. That was the end of the good stuff, and really, the coupons weren't that great. Bills come at the last minute, there's no online payment and paying via phone has a charge. Trying to get your address changed is a nightmare, and the communication between the store and the bank appear minimal (they always send you to the other to resolve conflicts, the never ending phone tag). Really, there is no reason to have this card, except having the guys accidentaly find it in your wallet.

Victoria Secret Card

My wife purchased some items in Las Vegas and they offered to put in on an Angel Card that they set up on the spot. Our 1st statement arrived (in Canada) 5 days before the due date. Using a exchange rate (higher than VISA) we sent a cheque for $175.00 CDN. By their calcs., we're short by just over $1.00 They now show their finance charges to us as 326.97% Hmmmmm. Recommendation: Stay with VISA.

My wife recently shopped at the local store and was asked about applying for the reward card. NOT a credit card. She had no idea that she had applied for a credit card. She only thought this card was a reward card that earned points and discounts. Needless to say when (if) it arrives - it will be cancelled. And from what I read here - we will never have a WFNNB card of any kind. My credit is too good to be ruined by shady techniques.

ok.. i've never had problems with bills and such... but i lost my wallet yesterday and so i called today (saturday @10:30pm est) to report it .. i tried yesterday... but their phone menu was so freaking complicated so i just stopped trying and after i calmed down today, i called and after finally getting to "to report a lost or stolen card press 6"... i hear "we are not available now... please call back at our regular business hours..." blah blah blah. i hung up because i was in shock that if a card was stolen during non business hours... how big of a bill will that poor person have since they can't report it? i don't know how normal credit companies do their reporting process... so this isn't just for VS... but i think the option to report a lost or stolen card should be a 24 hour service.

Poor billing practice

Completely amateur organization. My wife made a purchase in December (but forgot about it, and I pay the bills), and we just received a collection call in September, for $189! They sent a bill to a three-year-old address. Yet we still get the catalog and e-mail solicitations at our new address, which is correct with the credit bureaus!!! All calls into the various account representatives have not been returned. Just threatening letters have been sent, in response to my inquiry, such as send a copy of the bill (their answer, just send us money or let us debt your account (they don’t tell you about the fees associated with this). They did send a copy of the bill, which showed a $70 purchase. They want to charge 170% in usury, calling it collection and late fees. What a joke, they made no attempt to collect this in a timely manner, and have the audacity to claim they are owed late charges. They get a check for $70 and I’m complaining to the state-banking commissioner about this, as they will not talk to us about cleaning up her credit rating. Stay away

About 6 weeks ago, I went to a VS store and the associate asked me if I would like to apply for the Angel Card (they always ask) and I said yes, was asked all my personal info. BUT was denied. Week later, got a declination letter from WFNNB stating that my credit wasn't the problem but my address, they couldn't verify it (weird). I decided to call VS and they gave me the # for Costumer Service for WFNNB. I called,(I read many reviews here before). problem was the person who typed in in the computer my address, did it wrong and same with my first name. Had to fax them a bank statement and then got a call hours later saying that I was approved. The same lady from Costumer Service. VERY KIND and HELPFUL. So, so far Costumer Service is GOOD. I'll keep an eye on the bills.

Bills came after the fact. By that time the creditors and the investigations department was calling. Then when I called them back, there was no privacy. The investigator left a message on a friends machine (how did she get that number) and just told all of my business. Then when I had worked out the payment plan, She threatened me because I wanted to speak with her superior on the issue of her rudeness and privacy. What kind of business and customer service is that????? I am SO not impressed...

I've never really had a problem not receiving my bill. I pay it on time every month. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is the interest rates. I'd be better off putting my purchases on another credit card with a lower interest rate. Also I am ready to pay my card off and I wanted to check my balance online and pay and...imagine this...no online access. Everybody offers online access now days. I guess I'll just wait on my next bill to pay it off. I probably won't use this card anymore.

Their Way or a bad Credit Report

Although I had updated my new Married name & address @ VS when I used my VS credit card the information did not get updated @WFNNB. By the time I got the bill for a $40. purchase it was 5 months later and the bill was $140 and I had been reported to the Credit Bureau. I immediately paid the purchase price of the merchandise. After letters to Customer Service & many phone calls to WFNNB they agreed to take off the late charges but not the finance charges. They have no outside arbitrator so you either comply or have a negative mark on your credit. This one bad credit mark caused problems and increased interest rates with other credit cards that I had. According to WFNNB it is my responsibility to remember every purchase I make and make sure I receive a bill for it. Thank goodness my other creditors are better than this one because I can't imagine keeping up with every purchase I make and making sure I am billed for it.

WFNNB - get your act together!

This is not the only WFNNB card I have had, but it is the only one I have kept... until now. I've had trouble with WFNNB any time I have had a card through a retailer which "hires" WFNNB to handle their credit cards. First of all... why don't you join us all here in the computer age and allow on-line access to our accounts including on-line bill pay. And if you're too cheap to set that up, how about not charging for phone pay service. Also, WFNNB frequently posts payments incorrectly or not at all. Don't get yourself involved with this half-rate organization. Maybe if enough customers complain, the vendors will "hire" a more competent organization to handle their credit cards.

I cancelled my account through the toll-free number to the World Financial Network National Bank's Customer Service line (or so I thought) only to find it is actually still open, over TWO years later!! I guess this may be the 'secret' that is being hidden in the Victorian era?!? =)

Same issue as other comments here. Received no bills for *SIX* months, then a letter from credit collector. "Uh, ah,... nothing we can do about" Every other credit card company seems to be able to keep track of their customers. And the best: can't get bills, but still get junk mail.... Great interaction between organizations.

I have a v.s. card and so far i been getting my bills on time and i pay it off the day i get my bill. I dont use customer service because i dont trust people with my credit card information. So if you are thinking of getting a victoria'secret angel card think of these 3 qestion's 1. Will i be able to pay it off? 2. Would i get my bills on time? 3.What if i cant pay my bills off? So good luck if you applying for one and the people that has the card GREAT JOB =)

The Undercover Credit Card

This card seems great with its coupons/gifts each month (I never received those)and its savings (I never got those either) but it really sucks. I never got one of my bills and couldn't go online to find out how much it was and who has time to run to a Victoria's Secret Store everytime you want to attain balance info (or pay your bill which is what I had to do). Now I have a card with a 0 balance and 0 credit. I called customer service to ask how this was possible the girl actually said "hey,that doesn't make any sense." To say the least I don't favor this heavenly Angel credit card. My advice, just pay in cash.

I did not receive a bill for 2 months and had even called to see why. I was told I would receive a bill on the 22nd of the month not to worry. I did receive a 'gone to collections' notice. When calling back I was told my bill was returned to them twice even though they had the correct address and my account would be closed so I made the final payoff over the phone. Now I have gotten a letter with a balance for a payment via the phone and late fees. I was not told there was an additional fee for phone payment and I was assured the late fees would be removed.Then Iwas hung up on. I still don't know if my account was closed or if it was sent to credit bureau!!

If you move and you have a 0 balance (not receiving statements) and your forwarding order expires then you go to use your card and put in a change of address at that time through a store--be aware that your address probably won't be updated, you won't receive your bill and you will get a bad credit rating that the card company says they will correct, but they won't.

Victoria's Secret tricks people into getting the Credit Card

Just got my credit card, which I thought it was just to get some catalogs and coupons. I bought an item on sale, then an associate told me it had missplaced and charged me the whole amount. As I was walking out of the store I realized the label on the shirt actually had the sales price. I walked back to talk to the associate and instead of getting an apology she raised her hand and started yelling at me that "yeah, yeah! anybody can make mistakes", I felt embarrased since everyone turned to look at me ... Then I realized that after all they charged me the whole amount to my regular credit card (which they used to open the angel's credit card) and they charged the sales price to the angel's credit card. Double charge!!! after all!!!.

I live in Hawaii on one of the smallest islands. I recieved my bill maybe 4 days ago. Figuring, okay I'll just pay it in a couple of days. I am going to pay it today and to my surprise it is due tomorrow. Which means even if I had sent it out the day I had recieved it it wouldn't have made it on time. I'm not an extremely rich person (that's why I use credit). What person do you know pays their bills the day they recieve it?

False charging of $98 for a Victoria's Secret Sensation Membership

A charge of $98 hit my account for a Victoria's Secret Sensations membership. I did not authorize or recognize the charge or been informed of any membership offer acceptance. The credit card company just passed me on to VS who passed me back to the credit card company. No one could tell me when or how I was enrolled. They just repeated said the "computer shows you as enrolled" or "you must have not UNCHECKED a box" I started the dispute process, but did not receive 100% credit, they refused and prorated my charge. I have been unable to get a straight answer from anyone at VS or WorldBank, I haven't been able to find any information on this membership either on the internet or from the VS company (Limitedbrands) or WorldBank. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS CARD and IF YOU DO, WATCH OUT FOR THIS MEMBERSHIP CHARGE, you won't get a 100% credit. It is a scam.

I had the card for about 2 1/2 years now. I did have a problem one time after I sent in a payment. They called me at work for 1 2 weeks later, after the check cleared. I told them not to call me at work, and the rep gave me the customer service number. I called them that night and everything was fixed. Not 1 more call, nothing. The fixed the problem plus sent me some coupons for discounts. High interest yeah, but overall a great card. Very Professional

Had not used card in several months. Finally did, watching for bill, never received one. Got call from them informing me I was 2 payments overdue-told operator I generally pay my bills when I receive them, hadn't gotten bill in months. She checked my account info, address was correct, though they showed 2 bills had been returned by post office, and took off some kind of add-on fee. I sent them a payment the next day. I have received 3 more calls, one at work, in the 3 weeks since. Latest call was today, with operator claiming they hadn't received any payment yet even though check cleared my bank 2 weeks ago. Will pay entire balance in full and that will wind up my association with this outfit. Stay away!

This card is great if you pay the balance in full monthly. The only way you will ever experience trouble with World Financial Network National Bank is if you don't pay your bill. Paying your bill is a contractual obligation, so most people should be prudent enough to understand that.

I work for the bank that finaces the credit card for victoria secret and WFNNB is not a bad bank! People that do not pay and people who say that they pay on there bills and say that they have perfect credit just think that they do. Our bank gives out the cards as a privilage to others and we expect in return to have the payments made on time just like any other credit cards. Its not our fault that they dont pay there credit card bills. And then they wonder why we call and ask why and when they will pay. And what they dont know is that when they id them selves as the card holder and then they hand up that reflects on there act and then when they do not pay that reflects on there credit and then they get late fees upon late fees because they can not take 2 min out of there buisy lives to listen to us when we are actually trying to help them save there credit and there avaliable credit line to charge. But some people are nice and some are just nasty. So u treat us with respect and you will get the same in return. Treat us nasty and you will not get any where with us just a late fee and finace charge.

World Financial Sucks

I do not recommend getting this card, If you miss one payment, you will be harrassed. World Financial, the bank for Victoria secret, calls at least two times every hour. When asking to speak with a supervisor, they will argue with you and hang up on you. We called Victoria's Secret CS about this and they forwarded us to another one of World Financial's wonderful associates answered the phone in a rude manner. We asked that they stop calling and they said that they have every right to keep calling as long as they dont identify theirselves. We paid the bill and they are still calling since.

I have had this card for over a year and love it. However, recently I accidentally forgot to mail in my payment and received a call from customer service for this card, which is handled by something called World Financial. Okay, fine, I have no problem with this. I will mail in my payment. BUT the woman on the phone started asking me all sorts of information including where I worked, etc. etc. I told her this was none of her business and hung up. I NEVER give work information out to credit card issuers. We have been receiving huge amounts of spam on company e-mails and through the phone and I don't want any more of it.
