| "three strikes, and they were out" |
| I'm a diehard Tech alumnus, and wanted to support Va Tech, so I got the card. It was terrible! Even though the payments were sent on time, they always processed them late and charged late fees. Then, they charged interest on the late fees! When I'd call them, the reps were rude. I finally called the VT Alumni Association and complained; after a lot of frustration on their part and mine, the matter was fixed, and one of the executive officers of the bank called me to apologize. So, I gave them another chance; when I requested a certain card design (posted on their website), they told me it didn't exist. Again, had to go to the VTAA to fix it. Got the design finally, then they messed up the statements again. Fixed again, gave them one more try, then told them to stuff it. It's sad-I'd love to have a VT card, but I'd die before I'd get a First USA card ever again. |
