"Cash Back is nice idea."
This card is associated with the Cash Back Visa Check Card program. That means I get money back for using the card.

The checking is free when you use the service. Making the whole thing pretty sweet. And because you can keep an eye on your account on-line it's a nice setup. Now if we can only get the car rental industry to take the things as collateral when renting a car.
 
Most attractive feature: Takes funds right out of my account.
Least attractive feature: Unlike writing a check, often no way to know account balance until the dreaded "Refused"

"High Overdraft Charges"
Surpringly the overdraft charges can add up fast. And U.S. bank consistantly changes thier fees (always adding more fees for the same services). The benefit to having a Check Card dumbfounds me if I can't have any credit. There is overdraft protection, but I really never thought I would need it. Until I unknowingly went over and didn't find out for a couple of weeks, meanwhile making charges that always went through charging me something like $30 per overdraft and after the forth day they charge something like $4 0r $5 bucjs each day until you get back to positive balance. It is always really nice that the Bank doesn't really inform you prompty that you are overdrafting or basically stop allowing to make charges because you are out of money. My overall experiences with U.S. Bank have required me to pay over $200 in overdraft fees and fines associated with minimal overdrafts. Something like me buying a slice of pizza for $5 bucks put me over my limit thus charging $30 and $4 dollers everyday after the forth day. Not to mention that my next three or four transactions of small amounts went through as well which caused me to again get charged $30 per incident. Naturally I think that it is my fault and the Bank certainly has that stance as well, but in all honesty it just doesn't seem fair or just. The Bank sets up policies that can basically take advantage of customers to extreme extents. When I confronted the Bank the manager basically said it's your own fault and you should be more aware of your own finances.

"Credit Card"
I believe that this is an excellent asset to my life. It helps when I'm short on cash and there is no atm around. I can just swipe the card through at almost any store.
 
Most attractive feature: I can use it almost anywhere
Least attractive feature: Its hard to keep track of my checking account balance

"Stolen cards"
A year ago I had my wallet stolen. I was very concerned that someone would use my check card since I had recently deposited a large sum of money into my checking account. I called to report my card stolen and the woman I spoke with was so helpful. She made sure to verify that the last few charges to the card were indeed made by me.
 
Most attractive feature: I can never spend more money than I have.
Least attractive feature: I have had no problems with this card

"US Bank Visa Check Card"
Very good for people who cannot get an actual credit card. Easier than writing checks.
 
Most attractive feature: Can use instead of checks
Least attractive feature: Do not get credit card statement
