"They suck"
They blow. They are inconsiderate, ill equipped, and obviously do not have a technicaly sound payment recieved system. I wouldn't be suprised if Mongram CC Bank of Georgia was run out of a garage in GA with 3 teens as the CEO, President, and V.P. of the company.

Most attractive feature: There is none, use a regular CC rather than apply for these morons credit card.
Least attractive feature: All of them.

"Poor customer service, no statments!"
I received no statment. Customer service refused to give me current statment balance. If not for gas purchaces (2 cars, no going in for gift cards) we would gladly close the account.

Most attractive feature: Discounted gas with this card is very attractive, no going in for a gift card to buy gas.
Least attractive feature: Monogram service is very bad. No statement? Too bad for the customer!!

"credit score damage by walmart/monogram cc bank of georgia"
I wrote a letter to the collection agent (attorneys)stating that account does not belong to me.Walmart had no record that I even open that account with them, but Monogram Bank of Georgia attorneys still filed a claim that I owed them. They should removed that negative mark on my credit report. How could they charge me with this bill if they could not even show me that I even open or sign anything to have this account?. I never have a walmart or any monogram credit card. They should investigate their case thoroughly before ruining people's credit report.

"Too Slow Receiving Payments"
I have a small credit line of $125. I had a bill for $70; I paid $75 in store. One week passed and my card was denied when purchasing gas at Murphy's.
Let's do some math! It takes 3-5 business days to post a payment. Here is my bill: 125-70 = 55 I should have $60 for credit. Online it mentioned that I only had $15 available credit. So where is the rest of my money?
Sam Walton built a wonderful establishments that have spread internationally; MCCBG should not be the bank to uphold any of his businesses.
Surprisingly, I do not have any problems with their customer service. The ones who I have talked to (actually) listened. |

"My account is all hosed up"
It all started in september with my payment I made at my friendly(and I use this term sparingly) Wal-Mart store. The girl on duty somehow managed to make an adjustment to my account for $15 instead of making a payment for $15. I didn't really realize what she had done until the next statement came. Then MCCBG started calling me practically daily, even at work where I am not suppose to get personal calls. One day they catch me at work and have me on the phone for atleast 10-15 minutes before telling me I needed to get proof from my bank saying the check cleared. I did so and went back to my friendly Wal-Mart store and showed the check to the manager on duty and had him supposedly fix the problem so I could call MCCBG and tell them everything was fixed only to be bounced around in their voice menu never to talk to a real person. Now 3 months later the problem still isn't fixed and I'm growing madder by the minute because they are calling me daily until I make a payment then when its not enough here come the phone calls again. The other night when they called the answering machine started to kick in and I then picked up the phone and slammed it back down. Hope you got the message MCCBG!!!!!

"Collection of Account"
My account did fall a little behind with Wal-Mart and the customer service reps we not showing payments I had made over the phone. The money never came out of my bank account and when I called to inquire about the payment I was told it had posted. I never get the same story and the funds never cleared my bank account. The account reps also tell you that you are behind in payments but can explain where or when it happened. Then when they try to call you they do not have a number post on the Caller ID it comes up "UNKNOWN" and I don't answer unknowns because they are telemarketing calls 9 times out of 10. When my voice mail answers they never leave a message. They finally supposedly turned me over for legal action, but the firm doesn't return my calls after they promised to also do so. Most places go with a collection company first before legal action.
Who can you depend on at Monogram Bank or the collection/law firm. |

"I was able to get credit with Target, but not from Walmart."
Monogram Credit Card Bank of Georgia declined me credit with Walmart, because of information they received from GE Financial. It seems odd that Target would have a lower expectation to allow me to have credit with them. I also received mail from Discover card offering me a pre-approved 8.99% APR. I think Monogram Bank's buisness pratices are in question.

"CUSTOMER SERVICE"
I have been calling and writing Walmart for over a month. They have me listed as filing Bankruptcy and closing my account. I have given them my SSN and advised them that they have the wrong person. Each time I am told that the problem is taken care of. Each time I attempt to use my card I am denied. Walmart also have me in the Credit bureau as closing my account and filing bankruptcy.

"Payment Statement"
I have tried for about a month to get this company to send me a statement and they keep saying that they have to talk to my husband. I make one payment over the phone and I do not if this payment was posted to my account. I think that WalMart should do something about this company, after all there name is on the card that all of use.
I have tried to get on the internet and find a email address for this company, but I have not been able to find one. I sent a email to WalMart about this matter but they said that they did not have anything to do with matter.

"Calls demanding payment for currennt account, always being declined if want to use"
Tonight I received a call from Monogram informing I needed to make a payment of $96 to "bring my Wal-Mart account current."
I asked why I receiving this call when I had just made a payment of $75 on 9/10/04 on a $64 bill due on 9/20/2004. I had made this payment over the phone. When I paid them I asked "Does this bring my account up to date?" and I was told "Yes."
Now, 21 days later, I receive a call demanding $96 to bring my account "current." I inquired as to how it was possible to have to pay $96 bring the account "current" and I was informed I was 3 months past due. I asked when the last payment was made... she answered on September 10, for $75.
I told the girl on the phone that I had made a payment of $75 on September 10. She agreed that I had but that now I owed $96 to "bring the account current" $64 past due plus $32 due on October 20." I said "How can I be $64 past due if I made a payment of $75 on the 10th that brought me up-to-date?" She then proceeded to try and tell me that "up-to-date" and " current" were two different things and meant something entirely different... but she couldn't explain the difference.
When I requested to speak to a supervisor, she put me on hold, came back about two minutes later to apologize and say that all supervisors had gone home. Sure, Right.
A check has been issued for the entire balance on this account. The card will NEVER be used again.
