"Overall, a Great value"
I use the Visa signature card for as much of my monthly purchases as possible. I like the yearly spending report and it is actually very easy to use nwa.com's flight reservations when using your miles. But, you have to be flexible in your travel dates, and it's best if you learn how to use the calendar option, which shows the days you can use for the 19,000 mile round trip option. Customer servie is awesome, I always talk to an American, and fast!

Most attractive feature: Only need $19,000 miles (dollars spent) to fly anywhere in the U.S.
Least attractive feature: Free plane tickets aside, benefits are limited considering the $90 fee.

"Beware of the interest"
My husband inadvertently left a $70 unpaid balance, when paying the bill on time last month. The interest fee for the $70 remaining balance was over $35. After we called to protest, they informed us that the fee is based on the average daily balance-not what was unpaid.

Most attractive feature: A customer service representative actually returned my call!
Least attractive feature: Interest charge is outrageous!

"Northwest's WorlPerks has too many restrictions on using your reward."
It is extremely difficult too actually book a WorldPerks reward flight for 25,000 miles-- even for non-blackout dates. I've been in Northwest's frequent flyer program for about 9 years now and have never been able to use miles to fly on the dates the I prefer, and sometimes cannot use them at all without spending extra miles with their "rulebuster" plans, even when trying to book several months in advance.

Believe me, it is so hard to book a flight with WorldPerks, you're much better off getting a card with a reward program that's not tied to Northwest's WorldPerks. It is usully much easier to actually book a flight with program not affiliated with an airline. Your points may expire in 4-5 years with other programs and, in some cases, points may be harder to earn but the increased flexibility in actaully claiming your reward is well worth that trade.

The only caveat I would add is to watch out for non airline affiliated plans the impose "zones." This is where the continental U.S. is divided between "eastern zone" and "western zone" (or something like that) and you have to use more that 25,000 points if you want to from one zone to the other. This is bad news if you want to fly, for example, from the east coast to the west coast.

Most attractive feature: Miles earned do not expire.
Least attractive feature: Very difficult to actually use your reward.

"A great card if you fly often!"
I am a college student and travel quite often for both pleasure and business with my part time job while in school. I have always liked Northwest Airlines, and this card is the perfect match for getting me free flights faster. The customer service is great and the rewards are nice. Northwest has done a great job of setting up their member area of the website for Worldperks members. I would recommend this card if you travel a lot and use Northwest Airlines. It's a keeper for me!

Most attractive feature: Worldperks Rewards, Friendly Customer Service

"Worldperks Rip Off"
Northwest Airlines now makes it almost impossible to book a domestic flight and only use 25,000 miles. You now have to use thier rule buster option 50,000 miles (double the advertised miles) to book a domestic ticket. I tried different locations at different times going forward 1 year and no luck to get a flight for only 25,000 miles. What they advertize is not what you get

Most attractive feature: Can't think of one
Least attractive feature: I just tried to book a flight using 25,000 miles, Nothing available

"Tom Roberts, Great Card, Great Airline"
I have used this card or a similiar card for NWA for many years. I really think it is the best thing going for airline miles if NWA is an airline available to you. I also have a U.S. Bank account which makes it easy to telephone a transfer of funds to pay off my monthly bill at the last minute and not depend on the USPS to deliver payment on time, plus saving postage. It is a great card with a great bank, and a great airline!!

Most attractive feature: This card has the best miles program with a great airline, chose because of NWA
Least attractive feature: Yearly rate a little high

"Good card, good service, like the extra NWA miles"
I called the customer service number while travelling in Europe (purchase was declined at hotel). The customer service agent was incredibly helpful and explained it was declined as part of normal security protocol (apparently I was doing something out of the ordinary). Once I called, I had no more difficulty. As a U.S. Bank customer, I also love the ability to transfer funds from one account to another. Good card, good service, good rewards (if you fly Northwest Airlines).

Most attractive feature: Top notch customer service
Least attractive feature: High annual fee

"Annual fee not competitive"
This card is way out of line for annual fees compared to other Travel Rewards cards. The "unlimited spend" is not worth the additional fees. For the same money I can get the Diners Club card and get the airline miles PLUS merchandise.

Most attractive feature: Unlinited Spending limit
Least attractive feature: Annual fee
