| "Great Card" |
| My Boyfriend and I went to Zales to purchase my engagement ring. Since the ring was a bit on the higher price, he ended up getting the Zales Credit Card. We were advised of the Insurance Plan and Theft Plan, we decided to purchase the Insurance Plan and rejected the Theft Plan. Everything came out great, he was very responsible with the statements and payments and paid it all in less than 6 months. The only time you will have issues with this card or pay any fees or interest is if you arent responsible enough to make the full payment before the 12 month period. |

| "Pay attention to your statements!" |
I got a Zales card last month when I bought my fiance's engagement ring. They only gave me a $1500 limit, so I paid the rest in cash. I was not told there was a "Promo sale fee" or that there was "insurance" added onto the card. When I went to make my first payment a few weeks after my purchase, I laughed when I saw my balance (hidden fees kicked in) was higher than my credit limit.
One quick call however, and the promo fee was removed, and an apology was given. When I asked about the insurance fee, the rep was very nice, explained what it covered, and then offered a phone number to call to have it removed if I did not want it after all. Which I then called to have it removed.
Overall, it's an okay card. I know the horrors of not paying it off before my 12 month period is up, so that's the only thing I'll have to pay attention to. Otherwise, it was helpful. |

| "Beware of the 12 month free interest trap" |
| I received the card a year ago to buy my fiancé’s engagement ring using the 12 month free of interest promotional offer. I was going to paid off the whole debt when I noticed that they charged me an extra $495.00 on top of my previous balance which it was $395.00 (Total of $890.00). All of that because I didn't pay the entire balance in full before the promo period is up (12 months). They charged me all the interest from the original purchase on my Zales credit card. If I knew about this I would've paid off my balance long ago. But the Zales store never mentioned to me about the fine print of the deferred interest trap after the 12th month period. |

How do I set up auto debit payments? How can I set up multiple future payments? If this is not an option I feel that you’re doing myself and the rest of our society a huge disservice by making us remember every month... while this may be profitable for you when people forget a payment, it is not right. Please help me set up future payments or auto debit.

I will be posting this correspondence in reviews all across the internet. It is appalling that you would take advantage of your accountholders by not offering such a basic service. It is apparent that your priority is not your accountholders but rather your bottom line and your ability to get in the black by taking advantage of and raping peoples accounts with your interest hikes for accidental or missed payments. If your priority was to earn fair interest on accounts that want to pay their bills on time you would make this service available to everyone. It is practices such as this that have caused our great country to enter into the sad state of affairs we now find ourselves in.

| "Perfect for Us" |
| My husband and I opened a Zales Diamond card account in order to charge our wedding rings and pay them off over the 12 months. This card was perfect for us. For only a $10 fee, we had 12 months to pay off our rings. In order to take advantage of this deal, you have to buy something worth enough that the $10 doesn't matter and something that you WILL be able to afford. If you are irresponsible and don't keep track of the end of your 12 months or if you buy something you can't afford at the end of 12 months, you will get burned by the high interest rate. My husband and I planned it out and divided it into 12 affordable monthly payments instead of having to pay it all up front or getting charged 10%APR over the year from one of our other cards. |

| "Thanks but never again" |
| My husband and I used this card because my wedding set was quite pricey. Although it served the purpose of us not having to pay it all at once, I will never charge anything to the Zales card again. The interest rates and hidden charges are ridiculous. We ended up paying off and shutting down my husband's account because bills weren't getting to us on time, customer service sucked and we had to make large payments just to counteract the high interest. We would've paid my account off sooner if it wasn't so expensive but I'm glad to finally be done with it. I think the only good thing was that my credit limit was increased 2xs without having to call in a request--guess I was doing something right. |

| I applied for a zales card a year ago, bought something and never used it again. At their discretion, they decided to close my account without my knowledge. Me, thinking it was still open, tried to buy something but quickly discovered I could not use my zales card. This greatly inconvenienced me, and the only way I could open my card back up was for them to run my credit. I did not want my credit ran, so I declined. Their customer service is pretty much non existant, so I used a different credit card to make my purchase. I tore up my zales card and they'll never make another dime off of it. |

| "Overall an okay card" |
| I got an Zales card to get my then fiance' wedding band. I applied for the card online and went into the store to get it. Along with the card came a $50 off coupon which I could use on sale items as well. I signed up for the 12 month interest free promotion. The sales lady at the store did not tell me that there was a $9.95 charge. I was shocked when I got my first bill. I just called the 800 and they took it off. I haven't had any problems since. |

| "It's the salespeople's fault! " |
| If you have insurance charges, a $10 fee for the 12 month plan or unexplained charges, it is the fault of the salesperson. You have to sign off on those charges in the insurance app, which you may have done unknowingly. I urge you strongly to take it up with the store. Ask to see your credit application--they keep it for a year. Also, salespeople will charge things then return them later to meet sales goals. They will change the address to their own, so that the people will not recieve the bill. This happens often if you've called the store to cancel your card (which only you can do). This is not unique to Zales. Please contact the store's manager or district manager with your complaints/concerns. Sometimes it is an accident but some employee buckle under the high pressure, and needed to be weeded out. |
