30,000 Bonus Points for Coming On-Board
When you sign up for the Marriott Rewards® Credit Card, you are immediately treated like "royalty." Right away you will receive 30,000 bonus points after first card use. There is no required initial spending - simply charge your card or make a balance transfer and you will be the recipient of these bonus rewards. Redeem them for great night hotel stays at any Marriott hotel.
First card use does not include checks that access your account or cash advances. This special offer is only available to first time Marriott Credit Card cardmembers. Bonus points will be posted to your account 6 to 8 weeks after qualifying.

Enjoy free night stay e-certificates that you can use at any Marriott Category 1-4 hotel. For a list of all participating Marriott hotels, visit the Marriott Rewards website. Your e-certificates will be deposited into your account 6 to 8 weeks after your card becomes active. Earn 3 Points for every $1 spent at Marriott® - With over 3,400 locations to choose from, you will earn triple the points for every night stay, or any other Mariott® related purchases. Accrue enough points
Earn 1 Points for every $1 spent on other purchases - Not including balance transfers, returns, refunds, money orders or any checks to access your card.
There is no maximum number of points that you can earn, so you can accrue as many as you'd like for several free hotel night stays or other smaller rewards.
Elite Status Membership - Moving on up!
Signing up for the Marriott Rewards® Credit Card means that you can achieve Elite Status faster with everyday purchases and every year that you are a cardmember. Just for owning your Marriotts® card, you will earn a 10-night anniversary Elite status credit upon your account anniversary date.
But there are additional ways you can bump up your Elite Status. For every $3,000 spent, you will earn 1 Elite night credit. You'll just keep inching your way to the top! These purchases do not include balance transfers, cash advances, money orders or any checks used to access your account.
Different Levels of Elite Status Membership
Achieve different levels of Elite Status by earning personal hotel night stays through Rewarding Events or at participating locations between January 1 and December 31 of any year. Reward certificate stays cannot be used toward Elite membership.
Silver - 10 to 49 nights
Gold - 50 to 74 nights
Platinum - 75 or more nights
