Earning Starpoints for purchases, Stays, and More
It's easy to earn Starpoints. There are a variety of ways to accrue points, including simply making your first purchase! You'll also earn extra points when you charge hotel stays to your card.
Earn 4 to 5 Starpoints at SPG Hotels & Resorts - Earn up to 5 points for every dollar that you spend at SPG hotels & resorts: 2 points for every dollar and an additional 2 points as an SPG member. (4 total) SPG Gold or Platinum status members earn an additional point for every dollar.
Earn up to 25,000 Starpoints in your First Year - Receive 10,000 Starpoints for making your first purchase and an additional 15,000 Starpoints when you spend $5,000 in 6 months - enough for 6 free nights at a Category 1 or 2 hotel.
Earn 1 Starpoint on everything Else - You'll earn 1 point per every dollar you spend on purchases where you pay with your card. Your card also helps you achieve SPG Elite Gold or Platinum Membership Status, giving you even more perks:
