Bees may flock to honey, and squirrels to trees, but with an MBNA Canada Bank issued WorldPoints® card, you'll earn rewards with ease.
You can become a WorldPoints® MasterCard® Credit Card holder and get access to travel, shopping, and cash rewards in addition to receiving competitive interest rates and more.
Reward Yourself with WorldPoints® Rewards Options
At the rate of one point per $1 spent on retail purchases, you'll earn rewards quickly. Especially considering the 1,000 bonus points that you'll automatically receive after making your first purchase with your WorldPoints® MasterCard® Credit Card.
A minimum of 1,000 points is required to redeem your points for gift certificates and gift cards to places such as restaurants, gas stations, or cinemas.
If you hold on to your rewards a little while longer and let them grow, your scope for redemption becomes larger with options that include international and domestic airline travel, hotel stays, cruises, car rentals, and more. On top of travel rewards, you'll also be able to swap your points for cash in the form of a gift card, gift cheque, or travel credits towards an upcoming trip.
There's no limit to the amount of points you can earn and they won't expire as long as your account is active and is in good standing. The formula is simple – the more you use your WorldPoitns® rewards credit card, the more points you earn.
The Benefits of Carrying a WorldPoints® Credit Card
If have your eyes on a particular reward and want to know how close you are to getting your hands on it, simply look at your monthly statement for your point balance. You'll also have access to your WorldPoints® MasterCard® Credit Card account information online and by phone 24 hours a day.
Is the WorldPoints® MasterCard® Credit Card the Rewards Card for You?
This MBNA credit card program is only available to Canadian residents with a good credit history. If you do not meet the minimum requirement for card issuance which includes a minimum household income of $35,000, you will be issued a Preferred account which can be reviewed and be given an upgraded status at the bank's discretion.
If you're looking for a card that is strictly cash back without all the other rewards, the PremierRewards® MasterCard® Credit Card from MBNA Canada may be a better option.
