"Scam in the Making"

When I recieved this card in the mail I was excited because I thought it was a real credit card but after seeing that it did not have a visa or mastercard logo on it I started to get suspicious and did some research on it and I was right it was just a scam in the making. My advice, CUT IT UP!!!

Least attractive feature: everything is just confusing and makes you suspiciuos

"First National Card OCTOBER 7th 2004"

An unwelcome card was sent to me today. CCS Credit Service Division in Las Vegas offered me a 6500 dollar credit limit. Sounds great I suppose for some people. However, if I was going to buy something for 6500 dollars I wouldn't charge it and I also wouldn't pay for someone to give me credit. THINK FOLKS....Why would you pay someone a fee prior to purchasing an item with a credit card. Ie. Hey Larry, can I give you 500 dollars so that you allow me to purchase something from you for even more money.... and then Larry, once I have purchased that item that you allowed me to purchase from you, can you charge me other fees along the way while I try desparately to scrape funds to pay you back as well as save for my childrens college funds and daughters wedding and contrbute to my 2000 dollar mortgage and other bills including life insurance policies in case I die my family will be ok etc. GET IT. THINK THINK THINK. FOLLOW THIS IN LIFE: If it's sounds to good to be true it is. IT ALWAYS IS. There is only 3 ways to get ahead in your financial ventures:
1. SAVE
2. WIN
3. INHERIT
Good look to all. This card cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh First National Card!

Least attractive feature: It has the Statue of Liberty on it. What an insult.

"Almost scamed"

I like many others got this card in the mail and when I felt the card I thought wow what perfect timing. Then I decicide to check it out on the internet. That is when I found all of these awful reviews. So if your are reading my review DO NOT ACCEPT THIS CARD YOU WILL RUIN NOT REBUILD YOUR CREDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I just got one of those CCA First National cards in the mail today-October 5, 2004!!!"

I'm a college student looking to get a credit card ( I have no credit, I was shocked when I found out Citibank actually approved me for a card) I received this envelope in the mail, thinking it may have been my citi card or any other card I applied for. I instead found this weird card with no logo, with a letter claiming it was amerchant card with a 6500 limit. I immeditaley thought scam, and looked for a fee section. The 100 dollar annual fee caused me to grab a scissor right away. I'm glad I did after googling the card; all recipients of this suspicious scam should do the same. Also, I'm not sure if the scam card (the Vegas non-logoed one) is the original card being referenced in this forum. However, Many of the posts refer to this so-called "credit card."

"First National Card is a FRAUD!!!!"

I received the letter in the mail with a card with no master card or visa logo from CCS First National Card with a 6,500 credit line. From the start I felt something was funny about the whole credit card it has no freaking LOGO!!! And the fees WOW!!! I decided to research the card b/c it was unsolicited and I found this page with all the post. Thank Goodness.

"Confused..."

I too received a First National Bank (Pierre, SD) card in the mail. I didn't remember applying for this card but it did come ready to use once I called to accept it. I had a credit limit of $750 from the start and the fees were not very high at all on mine. Unlike some credit card companies, I have gone over my limit on this card without having an over the limit fee of $30-$35 added to my statement and when I called them and asked about having my interest rate lowered they were very happy to assist me in that. My limit was increased as well after making all my payments on time for 6 months and I have had this card going on 2 years. I am very happy with this Visa card. There must be other scams out there using this name as all of these cards are not bad ones.

"DON'T EVEN CALL THAT 800 NUMBER!!!"

I got this same card in the mail today. However, my credit isn't bad and I knew I didn't apply for any cards. At first, I was VERY ALARMED that someone may have stolen my identity and called that number. After answering about 3 of tier questions, I caught on. THEY WERE TRYING TO INADVERNTLY SIGN ME UP! I IMMEDIATELY HUNG UP!!! I HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT WHAT TO DO WITH THIS CARD BUT CUT IT UP. I would advise to keep the paper work to rectify any problems that may arise to your credit. DON'T DO IT!!! BEWARE, THIS IS A CREDIT CARD, IT DOES NOT HAVE A CREDIT CARD LOGO!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!

"SCAM"

I recieved my card in the mail yesterday. I went to open it and became very supicious because there was no credit logo on the card (Visa,Mastercard). First National is very known like all the legitimate credit cards. This whole thing is just too good to be true. I went with my gut feeling and did some research on the internet and found these awful reviews. I'm going to cut the card and throw it away. Thanks everyone for these reviews. You saved me from going through a bad experience!

"First National Credit Card Legacy Visa"

After reading all the reviews I think that all the Negative reviews are about the FNCC Gold Card and Not the First National Credit Card Legacy Visa. The FNCC Gold Card is one that they tried to send me and I ignored it, I agree with everyone stay away from this one. The First National Legacy Visa is a different card, it is actually an Unsecured Visa card for those of us trying to re-establish credit. Yeah the credit limit sucks, $250, with $175 of fees added to the card, but it helps to rebuild your payment history. I've had it for about 4 months now and other than the fact that they have no website for on-line payment it's no different than Cross Country Bank, Orchard Bank, Household Bank, etc... These all give you low starting limits no higher than $300 and most have some sort of fee from $50 to $200 to accept the card. I have this card and Household Bank Mastercard and so far they have helped my credit. I will let you know how things go with First National down the road.

Least attractive feature: Low Limit High Fees to get card, $175

"Why is the government allowing this company to operate?"

I received my ready card yesterday, first it seemed angel sended card, because I needed some money, I signed on the phone and they told me your card is ready, I went market shopped, but it truned out the card was fake, what a shame it was, I call them from the store and they told me it will take 24 hours it to be actived, wait 24 hours and called them, now 48 hours it to arrive,, I was confused but understood it was bussiness style trick, after reading this many complains I noticed this company is illegally operating and riping the poor people off, they design it for the kids and for the poor ones who will not investigate it and turn themselvies in to the hands of those theifies, I asked the Government to do something about this Sin city based company,,, and I ask them to not try to ripp me off because I singed their credit card, I will deal with them if they try to ripp me off...and the government must deal with this company once again,,,, don't just read and pass on......we must bring them to justice and question them......its like allowing rappers to rapp people smart way!!!!!

Least attractive feature: getting fake ready card with electronic signeture(calling themselvies the First national )
